Raipur. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, the procurement of paddy at the support price in Chhattisgarh is proceeding smoothly, transparently, and systematically. Necessary arrangements have been made at procurement centers in all districts of the state, giving top priority to the convenience of farmers.

The paddy procurement process is also progressing rapidly in the state's Jashpur district. As of December 3rd, 167,246 quintals of paddy had been procured from 2,628 farmers at 46 procurement centers in the district. In return, an amount of more than ₹39.62 crore is being continuously transferred to farmers' bank accountsTo make the paddy procurement process transparent and farmer-friendly, all necessary technical facilities, including a token system, electronic weighing equipment, and moisture meter, have been provided at the procurement centers. Adequate gunny bags, seating arrangements, drinking water, and other necessary arrangements have also been ensured, ensuring farmers do not face any inconvenience.
Due to the district administration's constant inspection and monitoring, the paddy procurement process is proceeding smoothly. Farmers are reaching the centers to sell their paddy on the scheduled dates, and they are receiving a fair price for their produce through the support price.
