Raipur: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today presented development works worth Rs 195.26 crore at a program held in Suhela village of Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. At the program, he distributed house keys to 1,073 beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), gas connections to 3,000 women under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, rights records to 5,000 farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Swamitva Yojana, and cheques for materials and funds to beneficiaries under various schemes.Handed over keys of new houses to 1073 PM Awas Yojana beneficiaries

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's goal is to ensure that every household has access to a permanent house, a toilet, pure drinking water, and the benefits of the Prime Minister's Suryaghar free electricity scheme. To achieve this objective, our government is committed to working in the public interest. He said that Chhattisgarh has completed 25 years of becoming a separate state, and we are celebrating our silver jubilee year. We are fulfilling the promises made in Prime Minister Modi's guarantee before forming the government, one by one.

Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that 21 quintals of paddy are being purchased per acre in the state at a rate of Rs. 3,100 per quintal. The rate for tendu leaf collection has been increased to Rs. 5,500 per standard sack. Farmers have also been provided with two years' outstanding bonuses. A large number of women are benefiting from the Mahtari Vandan Yojana and the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. He said that under the Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Yojana, free electricity will be provided to every household. This scheme also offers a significant subsidy, so more people should install solar panels in their homes and take advantage of them.

Praising the administration's 'Hum Honge Kamyaab' initiative in the district, he said that efforts being made to train the youth according to their interests for their better future have benefited more than 500 youth so far.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao and Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal also addressed the program. They said that under Chief Minister Shri Sao's leadership, Chhattisgarh is reaching new heights of development and major projects are being completed smoothly. Revenue Minister Shri Tankaram Verma reported that roads worth more than ₹100 crore have been approved in Balodabazar-Bhatapara district alone.

During the program, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced the establishment of a new college in Suhela, a community health center building in Tilda, a government girls' higher secondary school building in Balodabazar, and a new commercial complex. He also announced the construction of sheds for farmers at 50 paddy procurement centers in the district at a cost of Rs 10 lakh each, and the construction of dividers and lighting for one kilometer on each of the three roads in Suhela Tigadda.

The development works inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Sai mainly include 1073 houses constructed at a cost of Rs 12.87 crore under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin), and water supply schemes constructed at Amakoni, Hathbandh, Pausari, Semharadih and Khapardih at a cost of about Rs 7.74 crore.

The major works of Bhoomipujan include strengthening of Balodabazar-Risda-Hathband road at a cost of Rs 49.17 crore, Risda bypass road of Balodabazar at a cost of Rs 20.98 crore, Indoor Stadium Complex in Balodabazar at a cost of Rs 15.59 crore, 717 houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) at a cost of Rs 8.60 crore and construction of Sungera Anicut across Kolhan drain at a cost of Rs 8.04 crore.

Beneficiary-oriented material and cheques worth more than Rs 5 crore were distributed during the programme. This mainly included the refund of Rs 27 lakh in a cyber fraud case, distribution of Rs 83 lakh under various schemes of the Labour Department, post-matric scholarships worth Rs 4.25 crore to 8333 students, Rs 25 lakh to 16 women under women self-help groups and 'Saksham' scheme, Rs 9.69 lakh to 10 beneficiaries under the Chief Minister's Employment Generation Programme and Rs 6.81 lakh to 60 beneficiaries under the 'Hum Honge Kamyaab' scheme.

On this occasion, Balodabazar-Bhatapara District Panchayat President Akanksha Jaiswal, District Panchayat President Raipur Naveen Agarwal, former MLA Shivratan Sharma, Women Commission member Lakshmi Verma, District President Simga Daulat Pal along with many public representatives and a large number of villagers were present.
