Sukma:  On Thursday, criminals looted jewelry worth lakhs of rupees from a gold and silver jewelry shop in Sukma district, Chhattisgarh. The armed criminals carried out the robbery by brandishing pistols . However, the police took immediate action and arrested both criminals.

The incident took place at Durga Jewelry Shop, a gold and silver jewelry store in the district headquarters. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 4th. Two masked men arrived at Durga Jewelry Shop on Thursday night. They entered with weapons and began threatening everyone inside.

The criminals began threatening the shop employees with their weapons. They then brandished a pistol at the merchant and stole the jewelry. The accused fled with jewelry worth lakhs of rupees. Then, bystanders demonstrated their courage and apprehended one of the criminals. However, another robber, armed with a pistol, managed to escape.

The police were immediately informed. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and began investigating. Upon learning of the incident, Superintendent of Police Kiran Singh and the SDPO also immediately arrived at the scene and assessed the situation. Sukma police sealed off the entire district to prevent the absconding accused from escaping. Several police teams were dispatched in various directions. A search for the suspect was launched using CCTV footage and other means. Following this, the police took immediate action and apprehended the young man late at night.

According to reports, the criminals are residents of Madhya Pradesh. Both are being interrogated. The jewelry shop is reportedly located in the center of the city. Directly opposite is the old Superintendent of Police's office, which houses the SDOP, Cyber ​​Cell, and Naxal Cell. A police station is also located 50 meters away.
