Rajnandgaon. As part of the anti-Naxal operation being carried out in Naxal-affected areas, 11 Naxals, including CCM member Ramdher Majji, active in Khairagarh district, surrendered with their weapons on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday. Six women Naxals were also among those who surrendered.
This mass surrender took place between 2 and 3 am on the intervening night of December 7-8 in Bakarkatta police station area of ​​Khairagarh district. All the Naxals surrendered with their weapons before the police and security forces. The formal process of surrender was completed in Kumhi village this morning. 

The most prominent among those who surrendered was CCM Ramdher Majji, who had a bounty of ₹1 crore (approximately $10 million USD). Ramdher Majji had long been a member of the top leadership of the Naxalite organization and had been implicated in several serious Naxalite incidents. Among those who surrendered were CCM, DVCM, ACM, and PM-level Naxalites. Following the surrender of CC member Ramdher Majji, it is believed that the Naxalite MMC zone has virtually been eliminated.
