December 9, in Gorella-Pendra-Marwahi, Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur, Korea, Surguja, Jashpur, Surajpur, Balrampur, Kabirdham, Mungeli, Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, Rajnandgaon, Bemetara, Raipur, Durg, Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadh Chowki, Balod and Korba districts.
The cold wave will continue until December 10th.
According to the Meteorological Department, a cold wave will affect more than 20 districts of the state on December 9th and 10th. The Meteorological Department has urged people to avoid unnecessary exposure to the cold in the morning and evening. They have also urged people to take precautions to avoid the cold.School timings changed in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh.
Meanwhile, in view of the increasing cold, District Education Officer of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, JR Dahriya has issued an order to change the school timings. Under the order, it is necessary to change the timings in all the government and private schools of the district. The schools which operate in two shifts will run in the first shift from 8.30 to 12 noon from Monday to Friday and from 12 to 4 pm on Saturday. Whereas, the timings for the second shift have been fixed from 12 to 4 pm from Monday to Friday and from 8.30 to 12 pm on Saturday. For the schools which operate in only one shift, the timings have been fixed from 10 to 4 pm from Monday to Friday and from 8.30 to 12 pm on Saturday.
