Bilaspur. Two students preparing for PSC exam died in a tragic road accident on Koni-Sendri road in Bilaspur. This accident shook the city. The car which was running at a high speed suddenly went out of control and slipped off the road and overturned thrice and got stuck in the bushes of the forest. The accident was so terrible that the car was badly crushed and two students travelling in it died on the spot, while four others were seriously injured. The incident is from Koni police station area. Ishu Ratnakar (26 years), a resident of Kharkena village of Dabhra block of Sakti district, was preparing for PSC exam while staying in Bilaspur.
On Sunday night, he and five friends—Bhaskar Rajput (22, Jaitpuri, Bemetara), Abhishek Baghel, Shekhar Chandravanshi, Dishu Ratnakar, and Shyam Singh Rajput—went out to dinner on Ratanpur Road in car number OD 15 M 4400. Ishu was driving the car himself.
While proceeding through the Koni police station area, the car went out of control near Turkadih Chowk. The high speed caused the vehicle to veer off the road, overturn three times, and crash into bushes. The impact was so severe that the car was severely damaged, and Ishu Ratnakar and Bhaskar Rajput died on the spot. Four other students sustained serious injuries.
