00 Deputy Chief Minister honoured doctors and had dinner with them
Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma organised a function to honour the doctors who contributed towards improving the health facilities in Kawardha. Doctors from Kawardha's district hospital and private hospitals were present on this occasion. Deputy Chief Minister attended the function along with everyone and honoured everyone by presenting them Sal Shriphal and had dinner with them. He discussed in detail with everyone on how to further improve the medical services in Kawardha. He specially honoured the doctors who served the people by organising health camps in the remote forest areas of the district.
He expressed his gratitude to all the doctors for the excellent medical services provided in Kawardha, saying that doctors are half-God, saving lives in any emergency. This work can only be done with a spirit of service. Along with local doctors in Kawardha, doctors from outside have also embraced Kawardha and served its people wholeheartedly, for which the entire city of Kawardha is grateful.
He informed that for the expansion of health facilities in Kawardha, approval of 40 posts for 50 bedded maternity and child hospital, Critical Care Hospital Block at a cost of Rs. 16.63 crore, CT Scan, state-of-the-art Integrated Public Health Lab, power backup system in OT and HAMR Lab in District Hospital Kabirdham, capacity of District Hospital Kabirdham has been increased from 100 beds to 220 beds and for this, approval has also been given for 258 new posts. Apart from this, ambulance has been provided to Community Health Centre Pipariya and Primary Health Centre Rengakhar, Sonography machine has been provided to Community Health Centre Bodla.
Government accommodation has been provided at the Community Health Center, Bodla. Public health units have been inaugurated at the Community Health Center, Pipariya, and Sahaspur Lohara. The Raja Navagaon sub-health center has been upgraded to a primary health center, and the Taregaon primary health center has been upgraded to a community health center. Most importantly, approval has been granted for the construction of a medical college at a cost of ₹318.27 crore, making Kawardha a medical hub. Facilities like those in metropolitan cities will be available here.
The Deputy Chief Minister informed all the doctors that Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will lay the foundation stone for Kawardha Medical College on December 11th, the foundation stone of which was previously worshipped by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He invited everyone to witness this historic occasion.
