25384.12 metric tonnes of paddy purchased from 3924 farmers in the district
Jashpurnagar . The paddy procurement process at the support price is continuing smoothly in the district. As of December 8, a total of 25384.12 metric tons of paddy has been procured from 3924 farmers. In return, more than 60.86 crore rupees have been paid. The transfer of funds to farmers' bank accounts is also continuing. Procurement work is being carried out regularly as per the scheduled timetable at 46 procurement centers of 24 committees in the district; farmers are benefiting from the smooth and easy process.
To ensure the convenience and transparency of the farmers, token system, electronic weighing machines, moisture measuring equipment and other necessary arrangements have been made available in the procurement centers, so that the farmers do not face any kind of problem. Farmers are reaching the procurement centers to sell paddy as per the scheduled date. The district administration has also made proper arrangements for seating, drinking water and other necessary facilities for the farmers in the centers. Along with this, sufficient gunny bags are available in the centers for purchasing paddy, due to which the procurement work is continuing uninterrupted.
Farmers believe that the online system of Token Tunhar App, started by the state government for paddy procurement, is making it easier to obtain tokens and sell paddy. Due to the able leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and farmer-friendly policies, farmers have not only received fair price for their hard work but their respect has also increased. As per its announcement, the state government is purchasing paddy at the support price of 21 quintals per acre and at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal under the Krishi Unnati Yojana.
