Collector Vyas taught the children the history of the Battle of Panipat.

Jashpurnagar . Collector Rohit Vyas visited Sukhrapara in the Pathalgaon area today to inspect the Eklavya Model Residential School. During this visit, he not only reviewed the arrangements but also taught the children an important lesson on the Third Battle of Panipat, becoming a history teacher himself. 

Collector Vyas, who reached the eighth grade during the inspection, after taking information from the students about their studies, accommodation and food arrangements, discussed history with them. He told the children in detail that the third battle of Panipat was fought between the Maratha and Afghan armies in 1761, as a result of which there was a major change in the Indian power structure and the way for the dominance of the British was paved. The children listened to the collector's historical explanation with great attention. Assistant Commissioner Tribal Development Department Sanjay Singh, SDM Rituraj Singh Bisen, the school's principal and teachers were present during the inspection.

During the inspection, Collector Vyas closely observed the school's academic system, labs, library, kitchen, dining hall, and dormitory. He directed that the library be stocked with necessary books, the science lab be properly staffed with the necessary equipment, and the students be provided with a balanced diet rich in protein. He also directed that the kitchen equipment be properly utilized and that the necessary equipment be available for the students' studies be available in every room of the hostel. The Collector emphasized that students' studies should not be affected under any circumstances. He directed officials to ensure continuous, clean, and adequate drinking water is available on the school campus in case of any water supply issues. The school has approximately 360 students from grades 6 to 12. He also directed that students from other schools in the district be properly prepared for entrance exams to ensure that as many students as possible attend Eklavya Vidyalaya.
