Raipur. A case has come to light of a young man causing a lot of trouble by driving a Scorpio at high speed in the Baijnathpara area. The accused youth, driving recklessly, hit several vehicles, causing chaos at the scene. Several people present at the scene narrowly escaped. Angry locals caught hold of the youth and beat him. Amidst the growing anger of the crowd, the accused fled the scene with his vehicle.

It is being reported that shortly afterward, the accused youth returned to the scene with a pistol, spreading panic in the area. Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene and detained the accused youth, Rahul Thakur, and his companion, Paras Wadhwa. The accused, identified as Rahul Thakur, is said to be the state secretary of the Youth Congress.

Following the incident, a large number of local residents gathered at the Kotwali police station and demanded strict action against the accused. They stated that such recklessness and the open brandishing of weapons endanger the lives of civilians. Police have launched an investigation into the matter and are taking action under the relevant sections of the IPC.
