Raipur. On the occasion of 269th birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji, Chhattisgarh Government's Commerce, Industry, Labour, Excise and Public Enterprises Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan prayed at Jaitkham in Balco Nagar and Satnam courtyard in TP Nagar yesterday and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the state and the city residents.

Minister Shri Devangan attended the birth anniversary celebrations of the most revered Baba Guru Ghasidas, organized by the Satnam Kalyan Samiti, Balco Nagar, as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, Minister Shri Devangan said that Baba Guru Ghasidas was a great saint. He preached the message of "Mankhe Mankhe Ek Saman." Today, this message is connecting humanity. 

Similarly, in Satnam courtyard in TP Nagar, Minister Shri Devangan offered prayers to Jaitkham and extended greetings and best wishes to all the people of the society on Guru Parv. On this occasion, Shri Devangan said that with the blessings of Baba Guru Ghasidas and everyone's cooperation, under the good governance government of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, public welfare schemes and development works are being implemented rapidly to make Chhattisgarh a developed Chhattisgarh. The message of Guru Ghasidas Baba Ji is the basic mantra of unity and peace. Just as Guru Ghasidas Ji made the upliftment of the last person of the society his goal, similarly the government is also working by making Antyodaya its goal.

During this program, Mayor Sanju Devi Rajput, Chairman of the Committee Mr. Narayan Lal Kurre, Sunita Patle, Mr. Satyendra Dahariya, Mr. RD Bhardwaj, Mr. Yogesh Mishra, Councilor Mr. Laxman Shrivas, Premlata Banjare, Dhankumari Garg and Chairman of the Committee in Balco Nagar Mr. Ramesh Jatwar, Vice Chairman Mr. Mangal Ghrit Lahare, Mr. Santosh Banjare, Mr. Diamond Banjare, along with a large number of common people were present.

On this occasion, Minister Shri Devangan said that with the blessings of Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji and the cooperation of all of you, works have been approved and are being carried out for the development of various Satnam courtyards under Korba Assembly at a cost of Rs 1 crore 69 lakh in the last two years. These include construction of Satnam courtyard dome shed in ward number 16 TP Nagar at a cost of Rs 64 lakh, construction of building with compound in ward number 55 Sumedha Satnami Para at a cost of Rs 15 lakh, construction of community building in ward number 5 Indira Nagar Durpa at a cost of Rs 15 lakh, renovation of Satnam Bhawan and other development work in ward number 39 Balkon at a cost of Rs 15 lakh, extension work of Satnam Bhawan and construction of kitchen set in ward number 4 Ratakhar at a cost of Rs 15 lakh, construction of compound as per the demand of Satnami community in Guru Ghasidas Complex at ward number 65 Balgi at a cost of Rs 5 lakh, construction of community building and compound as per the demand of Satnami community in ward number 58 Shyam Nagar Sada Colony at a cost of Rs 25 lakh, construction of community building and stage in Satnam courtyard at ward number 28 Mdi Colony at a cost of Rs 15 lakh. Works under various heads will be completed soon.
