The Collector has given strict instructions to the Flying Squad team to conduct surprise inspections of all check posts during the night shift.
Jashpurnagar . Collector Rohit Vyas held a review meeting of the Revenue Department in the Collectorate meeting room on Saturday and directed to resolve the pending cases seriously.
The Collector inquired about the progress of paddy procurement in the review meeting. He instructed the Flying Squad team to conduct surprise inspections at all checkpoints, even during the night shift. He also directed them to take action against those transporting paddy illegally. He said that at the paddy procurement centers where complaints are being received, the Tehsildar, Patwari, and Food Inspector should inspect them and conduct physical verification, and strict instructions were given to take action against those causing irregularities.
The Collector said that the paddy procurement centres where DO has been issued for lifting paddy have been asked to lift the paddy through rice millers.
He said that if the millers are not lifting the paddy even after the DO is issued, then all the SDMs were instructed to take action after physical verification.
The Collector said that farmers should not face any problem in selling paddy and care should be taken to ensure this.
Instructions have been given to procure paddy from small farmers on priority. And if there is any technical problem, it has been asked to be resolved. The collector said that instructions have been given to do physical verification of paddy procurement centres of Konpara, Kotba, Bagbahar, Chongribahar. In the review meeting of the revenue department, the collector has given instructions to lift paddy through rice millers by placing vehicles at paddy procurement centres Shabd Munda, Bimda, Farsakani. Along with this, instructions have been given to get physical verification of Farsabahar, Tapkara paddy procurement centres done. Along with paddy procurement, instructions have also been given to do the work of area verification on priority.
The Collector has instructed revenue officials to ensure farmers benefit from the ambitious Deendayal Upadhyaya Landless Agricultural Laborer Welfare Scheme. On this occasion, Assistant Collector Aniket Ashok, all SDMs, Tehsildars, Deputy Tehsildars, and Revenue Department officials were directly involved virtually.
