Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma, as per his earlier announcement, today interacted directly with the candidates of Chhattisgarh Police Constable Recruitment at his residence in Civil Lines, Raipur. As per his promise, he appeared among the candidates at 10 am sharp along with ADG Mr. SPR Kalluri, head of the recruitment process, and IG Mr. Badri Narayan Meena. During this, he said that the Chhattisgarh Police Constable Recruitment Process has been conducted in a completely transparent and reliable manner. The government is fully committed to transparency in its recruitment process. He sat on the ground among everyone and discussed point by point all the demands and problems of the candidates regarding the recruitment process.

He explained that to ensure transparency in the recruitment process, the scores of all candidates were made public immediately upon request. All results have also been made available on the portal. Ensuring completely open competition, young people are being selected based on merit lists.

On this occasion, he stated that based on the facts, immediate action was taken wherever irregularities were found. When some people expressed doubts about the physical examination at one center, he personally summoned all documents from the department and investigated the cases one by one. He found no problems in the selection of any candidate, which the Deputy Chief Minister publicly informed everyone. He assured everyone that for the benefit of the youth, the government would work to clear the waiting list as soon as possible and would also seek Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai's guidance to increase the number of candidates on the first waiting list. He also promised to address the problem caused by the mobile number of some candidates being misplaced due to the PHQID.

He assured the ex-servicemen that he would discuss the demand for age relaxation in recruitment with Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai and resolve it as far as possible. He also stated that regional reservations were not possible in the constable recruitment process as per the court's decision, but that opportunities would soon be provided to local youth through the recruitment of Bastar Fighters.

On this occasion, senior officers of the Home Department and officials of all recruitment centers were present with complete detailed information about the recruitment at their center. The Deputy Chief Minister listened to everyone's problems and any problem was resolved immediately. Wherever any doubt was seen, it was resolved after looking at the entire documents. This is a historic moment when the problem related to a recruitment process is being resolved at many levels, where at the first level, the Superintendents of Police of all the districts resolved the complaints in their offices from 12th to 14th December. Even after that, providing an open platform to directly express one's views, any problem related to recruitment was resolved by the ADG of the department, Shri SRP SP Kalluri, on 19th and 20th December at the Police Headquarters, Raipur.

Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sharma also listened sensitively to everyone's concerns at his residence today. This marked the first time a minister, for the benefit of youth, addressed recruitment process issues at his residence. Furthermore, for those candidates who were unable to attend, the Deputy Chief Minister also arranged for them to contact the relevant Superintendent of Police office in their district. He assured the youth that the department had ensured that there were no irregularities in the recruitment process.
