31.91 crore rupees approved for 10 roads in Jashpur district, fulfilling the long-awaited demand of the villagers.
Raipur - Just before the New Year, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has given a significant development gift to Jashpur district. On the Chief Minister's instructions, the Public Works Department has approved a total of ₹31.91 billion (319.1 million rupees) for the construction and upgradation of 10 important roads to strengthen transportation in rural and remote areas of the district. The long-pending demand for these roads has brought joy to the residents. The approved works include ₹24.7 million for the construction of a road from NH-43 (Mudapara) to Sukbasupara via Churchpara, ₹34.1 million for the paved road from Gram Panchayat Kachhar to Tirsoth via Sarpanch Basti Chowk, ₹45.2 million for the approach road from Dandpani in Kansabel to Khutera, and ₹46.8 million for the Pale Pakhna to Junwaien approach road. In this sequence, ₹2.69 crore has been approved for the access road from Semarkachhar Bhattitoli to Lapai in Kansabel, ₹1.88 crore for the access road from Gram Panchayat Karrbewara to Paknapara Mado Cave, ₹2.61 crore for the Thakurmuda to Raghunathpur Joda Talab road in Gram Panchayat Gharjiabathan, ₹2.61 crore for the access road from Gram Panchayat Pakargaon to Chauraama via Turwaama, ₹4.60 crore for the access road from Gram Panchayat Bhagorpur to Bhagora, and ₹2.43 crore for the access road from Atal Chowk to Tilanga via Pandripani. The construction and upgradation of these roads will facilitate transportation in the rural areas of the district. This will facilitate farmers in transporting agricultural produce, facilitate students' access to education, and boost local trade. Additionally, people will have greater access to health, education, and other essential services. Villagers and public representatives said that Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has fulfilled a long-standing demand by providing this important development gift to the district before the New Year. Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, they said that this decision will provide new impetus to the overall development of Jashpur district.
