Raipur. Chhattisgarh State Child Rights Protection Commission Chairperson Dr. Varnika Sharma met Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw. She told about Ms. Ranjita Kuraithi, a former student of Chhattisgarh's Children's Home Kondagaon, that she has won gold medals in Judo at the national and international level and has been a part of the Indian team. Dr. Varnika Sharma told Arun Saw that this girl needs money to be sent to Japan for training and for additional monthly nutritious food. The Deputy Chief Minister and Sports and Youth Welfare Minister immediately showed his sensitivity and spoke to the girl on a video call. He instructed the officials of the Sports Department to make arrangements for providing the necessary assistance immediately. Dr. Varnika Sharma stated that, as part of the Commission's "Sarthak Abhiyan," the Commission is taking concrete steps to build the future of children aged eighteen and over who have left previous child care institutions. This initiative is part of this effort. On behalf of the Commission, Dr. Varnika Sharma expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Honorable Deputy Chief Minister for this meaningful and sensitive initiative. On this occasion, Dr. Varnika Sharma also discussed securing children's playgrounds, protecting children from stray dogs, and protecting children by fencing open pits in urban areas. The Deputy Chief Minister immediately included these issues in the upcoming departmental meeting and assured concrete action.
