Deputy Chief Minister Saw inaugurated Mawa Modol Library Charama
Raipur. Shri Arun Saw, Deputy Chief Minister of the state and Minister in charge of Public Works, Public Health Engineering, Urban Administration and Development, Sports and Youth Welfare, and North Bastar (Kanker) District, inaugurated the Mawa Modol Library in Charama, Kanker district, on Sunday. Following the inauguration, he inspected the library and interacted with the young students there. He shared his experiences as a student, urging them to study diligently, take advantage of the government's facilities, and, through success, bring glory to their country, state, and region. He also extended his best wishes to all the students for a bright future. Built at a total cost of ₹43 lakh, this fully equipped library will accommodate 75 students preparing for various competitive examinations. Mrs. Shalini Rajput, Chairperson of the Chhattisgarh Handicrafts Board, and Mrs. Kiran Nareti, Chairperson of the District Panchayat, were present on the occasion.

Addressing the ceremony marking the library's inauguration, Deputy Chief Minister Sao said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sao, the state government is continuously working to shape the future of children. Whether it's providing facilities for competitive exam preparation in Delhi or establishing libraries and Nalanda campuses across the state, students are being provided with adequate facilities for competitive exam preparation. In Kanker district, the district administration is also continuously providing excellent facilities for children. In this series, the Mawa Modol Library in Charama is being inaugurated today. Children from the entire region can study here in a positive environment and shape their future. He extended his best wishes to the residents of the area, as well as to all the youth preparing for competitive exams and their parents.

Local MLA Smt. Savitri Mandavi also addressed the function. She said that with the establishment of Mawa Modol Library, the children of this area will get the benefit of the library. By preparing well in Mawa Modol Library, children can shape their future. Collector Mr. Nilesh Kumar Mahadev Kshirsar said in his address that Mawa Modol Library will be established in all the 11 tehsil headquarters of the district, so that the children of that area can study in the library and get into higher positions. This is the sixth library of Kanker district, before this Mawa Modol free library is being operated in Kanker, Bhanupratappur, Korar, Durgukundal and Antagarh. The program was attended by dignitaries including Chairman of Nagar Palika Parishad Kanker, Mr. Arun Kaushik, Chairman of Nagar Panchayat Charaama, Mr. Bhuneshwar Nag, Superintendent of Police, Mr. Nikhil Rakhecha, CEO District Panchayat, Mr. Haresh Mandavi, District Education Officer, Mr. Ramesh Nishad, Mahesh Jain, Umadevi Sharma, students and teachers preparing for competitive examinations.
