Raipur, September 2026/ Chhattisgarh Government Water Resources Department has approved Rs 146 crore 43 lakh 95 thousand for 36 works of various irrigation schemes under the untested new item.

Among the approved works, Rs 4 crore 69 lakh thousand 73 thousand has been approved for the Kharla Anicut Scheme in the Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district. Upon completion of the proposed works, 90 hectares of the region will have irrigation facilities. Rs 3 crore 87 lakh 17 thousand has been approved for the Jhiriyanala Stop Dam Scheme. Upon completion, 90 hectares of the scheme will have irrigation facilities. Rs 4 crore 93 lakh 08 thousand has been approved for the canal upgradation and CC channel construction work of the Khatambar Diversion Scheme. Upon completion, 296 hectares of area will have irrigation facilities. Rs 3 crore 38 lakh 72 thousand has been approved for the canal restoration work of the Kodangi Diversion Scheme. Upon completion, 92 hectares of area will have irrigation facilities. Rs 4 crore 50 lakh 99 thousand has been approved for the Kaudiya Anicut Scheme. Upon completion, the project will provide irrigation facilities to 70 hectares. Approval for the Gudru Diversion Scheme's headwaters and canal upgrades has been granted, and upon completion, 179 hectares will receive irrigation facilities.

Rs 2 crore 19 lakh 97 thousand has been approved for dam and canal upgradation work in Salba reservoir of Korea district. On completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 59 hectare area. Rs 1 crore 95 lakh 99 thousand has been approved for canal upgradation work in Champajhar reservoir. Irrigation facility will be available in 61 hectare area through the scheme. Rs 4 crore 42 lakh 12 thousand has been approved for dam and canal upgradation work in Murma reservoir.

Rs 3 crore 89 lakh 48 thousand has been approved for the renovation work of Kalyanpur reservoir scheme of Surajpur district. On completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 86 hectare area. Rs 4 crore 43 lakh 38 thousand has been approved for the renovation work of Badrikashram reservoir scheme. On completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 29 hectare area. Rs 4 crore 06 lakh 22 thousand has been approved for the renovation work of Pasla reservoir scheme. On completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 76 hectare area. Rs 3 crore 23 lakh 45 thousand has been approved for the renovation work of Jamdih reservoir scheme. On completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 61 hectare area.

Rs 4 crore 72 lakh 18 thousand has been approved for the renovation work of Gangoti reservoir scheme in Surajpur district. On completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 96 hectare area. Rs 4 crore 09 lakh 75 thousand has been approved for Dandkarwan Anicut scheme work. On completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 70 hectare area. Rs 4 crore 70 lakh 88 thousand has been approved for Mayapur-2 reservoir scheme work. On completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 100 hectare area.

An amount of Rs 2 crore 67 lakh 53 thousand has been approved for the construction of Chargarh Nala Stopdam in Balrampur-Ramanujganj district. On completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 45 hectare area. Rs 3 crore 91 lakh 32 thousand has been approved for the renovation work of Kameshwarnagar Reservoir 02 scheme. On completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 215 hectare area. An amount of Rs 3 crore 96 lakh 12 thousand has been approved for the renovation of Baharchura dam and canal repair work. On completion of the scheme, irrigation facility will be available in 70 hectare area.
