RAIPUR NEWS: RERA cracks down on Humming Kotri project, strict action will be taken if improvements are not made within 60 days

RAIPUR NEWS: Raipur: A glimmer of hope for justice has emerged for the residents of the Humming Coterie residential project in Kachana, Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. The Chhattisgarh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) has taken a tough stand on the project's lack of basic amenities and violations. RERA has imposed a fine of one lakh rupees and directed the builder to complete the necessary amenities within 60 days.

Residents of the project filed an appeal

Ajay Agarwal and Atul Agarwal, residents of the Humming Coterie residential project, filed an appeal with RERA. They alleged that basic amenities were not provided within the stipulated timeframe. Facilities such as the badminton court, lawn, RCC chambers in the clubhouse, and sewerage system were incomplete.

Furthermore, the swimming pool lacks inlet and outlet systems. The promise of installing solar panels in the clubhouse has not been fulfilled, and the building's walls are leaking. Furthermore, the STP control panel hasn't been repaired, and the garden fountain is out of order.

RERA Chairman gave the decision

Considering the seriousness of the matter, Rera Chairman Sanjay Shukla heard the case and ruled in favor of the residents. Rera imposed a fine of one lakh rupees on the project for violating regulations and ordered authorized Sumit Dadsena to rectify the project's deficiencies within 60 days. He also clarified that strict action would be taken if all amenities were not completed in time.
