Under the Krishak Unnati Yojana, farmers cultivating pulses and oilseeds instead of paddy will get an incentive of Rs 15,000 per acre.

CM Helpline 1076, e-district services and electricity bill settlement scheme are providing relief to the public.

Raipur: Prosperity for farmers, development of villages, and providing better facilities to citizens are the top priorities of the state government. With this resolve, the state government is implementing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's promises and writing new chapters of development and good governance in the state. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai made these remarks while addressing the Progressive Farmers' Conference and inauguration-bhoomipujan program held at the State High School grounds in Rajnandgaon today. Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh was specially present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai presented 333 development works worth more than Rs 510 crore 89 lakh to Rajnandgaon district. He also announced important works such as a suspension bridge from the Mohra Mela site to the oxygen zone of the Shivnath River, the construction and protection of the Ira Anicut, the construction of the Kumarda-Gendatola-Kallubanjari road, and the renovation of the Ghumaria diversion.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Rajnandgaon district has done remarkable work in the areas of crop rotation and water conservation. Farmers here have been encouraged to cultivate pulses, oilseeds, and other profitable crops alongside traditional farming, and positive results are visible.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under the Krishak Unnati Yojana, starting from Kharif 2026, farmers who choose pulses, oilseeds, or other crops instead of paddy will be provided an input subsidy of Rs 15,000 per acre. This will encourage farmers to diversify their crops and increase their income.

The Chief Minister said that farmers are being provided financial security through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, the Krishak Unnati Yojana, the paddy procurement at the support price, and other farmer-friendly schemes. The state government is also committed to providing farmers with the necessary fertilizers and seeds for farming in a timely manner.

He said that to strengthen good governance, the state government has launched the CM Helpline 1076, where citizens can register their problems and receive solutions within a stipulated timeframe. Similarly, through the e-district system, more than 400 services from various departments, including income, caste, and residence, are being made available at home.

The Chief Minister said that relief is being provided to needy consumers through the Chief Minister's Electricity Bill Settlement Scheme. The Prime Minister's Free Electricity Scheme is also seeking long-term relief from electricity bills for ordinary citizens. He urged people to install rooftop solar panels in their homes.

The Chief Minister said that the state government's goal is not only to build development projects, but also to ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach every family. In accordance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision, housing, electricity, water, road, and digital services are being rapidly expanded.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that Padmashree Phoolbasan Bai Yadav traveled with women from a women's self-help group during the afternoons of April and May to raise awareness among farmers and villagers about crop rotation and water conservation, and a remarkable work was accomplished. The crop rotation in Rajnandgaon
has inspired farmers to diversify their crops.

During the event, an MoU was signed between the district administration and ABIS Exports for the purchase of soybean produce from farmers. Progressive farmers, Krishi Sakhi Didis, Sarpanchs, and Rural Agricultural Extension Officers were honored, and mini kits were distributed to farmers to promote crop diversification.

On this occasion, District In-charge Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav, MP Shri Santosh Pandey, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Tourism Board Shri Neelu Sharma, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Labour Welfare Board Shri Yogesh Dutt Mishra and other dignitaries were present.
