Raipur. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today released the Chhattisgarh SDG 2.0 Framework prepared by the State NITI Aayog in the presence of the Council of Ministers members at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan. On this occasion, Chhattisgarh SDG State and District Indicator Framework 2.0 and Metadata Handbook were also released. Along with this, 'Bastar Anjor', an innovative initiative prepared for inclusive, convergence-based and scalable development of Bastar division, was also launched.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that effective implementation of schemes, accurate data, and results-based monitoring are essential for building a developed Chhattisgarh. The SDG 2.0 framework will provide a strong foundation for governance to develop evidence-based policymaking, improve inter-departmental coordination, and regularly monitor schemes. He said this initiative is an important step towards achieving the goal of a 'Developed Chhattisgarh @ 2047'.
The Chief Minister said that the state government's objective is not merely to implement development schemes, but to ensure their real impact reaches the last person. SDG 2.0 will make development progress more transparent, measurable, and accountable.
Under the new SDG 2.0 framework, the number of indicators has been increased from 275 to 343 at the state level and from 82 to 99 at the district level. This will enable more comprehensive, accurate, and scientific monitoring of development work. The calculation methodology and reporting system for each indicator has been standardized in the metadata handbook, ensuring the quality and reliability of data across the state.
On this occasion, Shri Ganesh Shankar Mishra, Vice Chairman of the State NITI Aayog, introduced the concept of "Bastar Anjor," explaining that it is a convergence-based development model designed to realize the resolve to make Bastar division the most developed tribal region in the country.
He explained that under the 3+4 model of "Bastar Anjor," three major district-level initiatives—Niyad Nellanar 2.0, Bastar Munne, and Swasth Bastar—are converged with four key national and state-level development frameworks—the SDGs. 2030, Developed Chhattisgarh @ 2047, Aspirational District and Block Programme. Its objective is to achieve concrete and measurable results in areas like education, health, livelihood and infrastructure through better coordination without additional resources.
'Bastar Anjor' is a visionary initiative based on the spirit of Antyodaya se Sarvodaya, which will play a significant role in making Bastar a national model of inclusive, sustainable and result-oriented development.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, members of the Council of Ministers, Chief Secretary Shri Vikas Sheel, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Kumar Singh and senior administrative officers were present in the program.
