An important initiative has been taken towards expanding road facilities in the Arang assembly constituency. Due to the efforts of Cabinet Minister and Arang MLA Shri Guru Khuswant Saheb, the Public Works Department has granted administrative approval of Rs 11 crore 69 lakh 9 thousand for the renovation and strengthening of the 15.50 kilometer road from Dhamni-Kotni Palaud to Navagaon. This work is included in the budget for the financial year 2026-27. The renovation and asphalting of the road will facilitate the movement of villagers, farmers, students and businessmen of Dhamni, Kotni Palaud, Navagaon and surrounding villages. Also, the connectivity system of the area will be strengthened.

          Upon this approval, Minister Guru Khuswant Saheb expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and Deputy Chief Minister and Public Works Minister Arun Saw. He stated that the overall development of the Arang Assembly constituency is his priority. Continuous efforts are being made to expand road, education, health, and other infrastructure in the area. He stated that better roads play a vital role in rural development and accelerating economic activity. Special attention will be paid to quality and timelines during construction.
