Chief Minister's OSD Ravikant Mishra voted with his family in Vishrampur Nagar Panchayat, appealed to the citizens to be aware and exercise their franchise.
Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai's OSD Ravikant Mishra exercised his franchise along with his family in Vishrampur Nagar Panchayat of Surajpur district.Taking active part in this great festival of democracy, he reached the polling station and voted and inspired other citizens to exercise their rights.
He said that voting rights are not only a constitutional right but also a moral responsibility of every citizen, by fulfilling which we can strengthen our democratic values.While interacting with the citizens after voting, Mr. Mishra said that an informed voter is the real strength of democracy. He urged all the voters to use their vote wisely and elect qualified and capable public representatives.He emphasized that voting is not just a process but an important medium to decide the direction and development of the society. Therefore every voter should vote impartially without any fear and inducement.Shri Mishra especially appealed to the youth and first-time voters to contribute to strengthening democracy by exercising their franchise. He said that establishment of a strong and responsible governance is possible only with maximum voting.He urged the citizens to make their families and surrounding people aware about voting, so that the roots of democracy can become stronger
