Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has congratulated the security forces for achieving major success in the encounter between them and Naxalites today at Upampalli under Keralapal police station area of Sukma district.Chief Minister Shri Sai described this bold action as a symbol of the bravery, strategy and determination of the security forces.
He said that in order to end the anti-human Naxalism, our security forces are working to root out the Naxalites by entering their dens.This success is the result of the unparalleled courage and dedication of our brave soldiers. I salute their bravery. It is noteworthy that 17 Naxalites have been confirmed killed in the encounter, while 2 District Reserve Guard (DRG) soldiers have been injured.
