Jashpur. Better efforts are being made to promote water conservation in the district. Rain harvesting system is being installed in government buildings.Shramadan yoga practice is being conducted before the good governance camp in Jashpur district under the Jal Jagriti Jashpur campaign being run by the district administration under the guidance of Collector Rohit Vyas and District Panchayat CEO Abhishek Kumar for water and land conservation promotion.
Along with this, a meaningful effort is also being made to conserve water by running special campaigns for promoting water conservation in the Gram Panchayat.
In the said programme, the cleaning of inside the water source, bushes and embankments is being done through voluntary labour with the help of Sarpanch Panch, Deputy Sarpanch, Anganwadi worker assistant, sisters of the group and villagers.
