Raipur 28 May 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today paid homage to the great freedom fighter Veer Savarkar by offering flowers to his photograph on his birth anniversary at his residential office here. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Veer Savarkar's entire life was dedicated to the service of the motherland and the reconstruction of the nation. Raipur, May 26/ Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday virtually inaugurated a branch of Chhattisgarh Gramin Bank in Pamed, a remote village in Bijapur district once considered a Maoist stronghold. Describing the move as a landmark in the region’s journey from extremism to empowerment, the Chief Minister said, “This land once feared as the base of Maoist Battalion No. 1 is today witnessing the rise of banks, hostels, and hope. This is the new Bastar — confident, connected, and committed to change.”

The bank branch will bring formal financial services to over 50 villages, eliminating the need for villagers to travel nearly 100 kilometers to Avapalli for basic transactions. The facility will support account openings, withdrawals under welfare schemes such as the Mahatari Vandan Yojana, and enable seamless access to banking facilities and government subsidies.

The launch formed part of the state’s flagship Sushasan Tihar initiative, aimed at delivering governance to the last mile. 

Speaking from Delhi, CM Sai emphasized the symbolic significance of the moment. “This is not just a bank opening. This is the commitment of the state for stability and welfare of people — not with force, but with trust, services, and stability,” he said.

In addition to banking services, the Chief Minister also inaugurated a 50-seater tribal girls’ hostel, constructed at a cost of ₹1.62 crore, to strengthen educational access for young women in the region. A Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) was also launched to address the pressing issue of child malnutrition in surrounding tribal areas.

CM Sai highlighted infrastructure development as the cornerstone of Pamed’s long-term integration. The Dharmavaram Bridge over the Talperu River, currently under construction, is expected to drastically reduce the 200-kilometre detour through Telangana previously required to reach the district headquarters. Complementing this, a direct bus service between Pamed and Bijapur has been initiated to ease mobility and stimulate local commerce.

The event was marked by the presence of hundreds of local residents and key officials, including former minister Mahesh Gagda, Zila Panchayat President Janki Korsa, Collector Sambit Mishra, and SP Dr. Jitendra Kumar Yadav. A ‘Samadhan Shivir’ (public grievance redressal camp) was also held, where officials addressed citizen concerns in real-time — reinforcing the administration’s on-ground engagement.

CM Sai concluded with a firm resolve: “By March 2026, we aim to eradicate Maoist influence entirely. What once symbolised fear will now represent a new chapter of hope, development, and democracy."

New Delhi, May 26, 2025:* With the investment proposal of more than Rs 300 crore, Chhattisgarh will become one of the largest transformer manufacturing centers in the country. Karamveer Electronics Limited, a well-established name in the electrical equipment sector, has proposed an investment of over Rs 300 crore to set up a state-of-the-art transformer manufacturing facility in Raipur.

On this occasion, the Managing Director of the company, Mr Vivek Jain met the Chief Minister at Chhattisgarh Sadan, New Delhi. In the meeting, the outline of the proposed project, investment possibilities and dimensions of employment generation were discussed in detail. Mr Jain said that this unit will be the country's most advanced transformer manufacturing unit from a technical point of view, which will prove to be a milestone in meeting the needs of the energy sector in future.

On this occasion, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Singh, Investment Commissioner of Chhattisgarh in New Delhi Ritu Sen were also present.

Welcoming the investment proposal, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said, “Our aim is that Chhattisgarh becomes a strong pillar in the construction of a developed India 2047. This investment is not just an industrial unit, but a strong step towards the technical capability and self-reliance of Chhattisgarh. The state government will provide all possible support to this project.”

This project will accelerate the modernization of the power sector in the state, employment for local youth, and industry-based development. This initiative especially strengthens the slogan of “Make in Chhattisgarh”, where now transformers made with state-of-the-art technology will illuminate the entire country.

Raipur 26 May 2025/ In a landmark move set to transform Chhattisgarh’s digital landscape, technology firm ESDS Software Solution Ltd has proposed an investment of over Rs 600 crore to establish a state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence-based data center in Raipur.

During a meeting with Chhattisgarh Chief Minister at Chhattisgarh Sadan in New Delhi, ESDS Chairman Piyush Somani and Vice President Lokesh Sharma presented the proposal and emphasized that the data center would not only fuel the digital transformation of Chhattisgarh but also serve as a critical infrastructure pillar for AI and cloud services across India.

Welcoming the proposal, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said, “This investment will be a landmark in bringing the vision of Digital India to life in Chhattisgarh. The state government will provide every possible support to ensure the timely execution of this project.”

Raipur : People of Jagargunda area of Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, which has been affected by the Naxal problem for a long time, will now also get the benefit of banking facilities. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today virtually inaugurated the branch of Indian Overseas Bank in Jagargunda, Sukma from the Chief Minister's residence.

About 14 thousand villagers from 12 nearby villages will get the benefit of banking facility from this branch of the bank.

In the last one and a half years, under our double engine government, we have succeeded in establishing peace in the Bastar region. This is the reason why a new bank branch has opened here today. Chief Minister Sai said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a guarantee to provide banking facilities in all the Gram Panchayats,Acting on this, on the occasion of National Panchayat Day on 24 April, 1460 Atal Panchayat Digital Service Centers have been started in 10-10 Gram Panchayats of every development block.Where the villagers have started getting the benefits of banking facilities. This facility will be expanded to all the Gram Panchayats in a year. The Chief Minister also gave detailed information about Sushasan Tihaar to the villagers.Shri Sai said that during Sushasan Tihar he himself visited the Digital Seva Kendras and reviewed the arrangements. Villagers are taking advantage of the banking facility here.

Raipur, 18 May 2025/ The announcements made by Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai in the highly sensitive and remote village Muller of Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh under Sushasan Tihar 2025 are now being implemented on the ground.In accordance with the instructions of the Chief Minister, the district administration has shown promptness and has given administrative approval of a total of Rs 21.54 lakh for the establishment of a sub-health center, construction of three CC roads and construction of a dome shed.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Shri Sai had recently made a surprise visit to village Muller under Sushasan Tihaar and inspected the development camp. The villagers were very excited to have the Chief Minister amongst them.The villagers placed their main demands related to health, road and community facilities on the spot, to which the Chief Minister showed sensitivity and gave immediate approval and directed the administration to complete the work on priority basis.

This quick and public welfare initiative of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has not only paved the way for development of basic amenities in village Muller, but also shows the sensitivity of the government towards public welfare.The initiative will further strengthen the trust between the government and the general public.

Jashpur: The brief description of the case is as follows that on 14.04.25 the applicant Prakash Gupta, resident of Saraitoli, Police Station Bagicha had lodged a report at Police Station Bagicha that he had gone to the weekly market of Marol to buy grains, that at about 1.30 in the afternoon when he was alone at the shop,At the same time, three unknown persons came on an Apache motorcycle and two of them showed him a country-made pistol and fled after robbing his money bag containing Rs. 46,700 and his mobile phone.

Similarly, on the same day, applicant Satish Yadav, a resident of Ferozepur who works for US Agro Seed Company, also filed a report at Bagicha Police Station that he had gone to Gurmakona village, Bagicha Police Station early in the morning for company work.

At the same time, three unknown persons came on a motorcycle and, showing a pistol, took away Rs. 1800 kept in her purse and also took away her mobile phone.Based on the report, a case was registered at Police Station Bagicha for robbery under Sections 309(4) of the BNS and 25,27 of the Arms Act, and investigation was taken up. One of the accused in the case American Pankra has been arrested and sent to jail on judicial remand and the other accused Dhaneshwar involved in the robbery has been arrested by Korba Police.

On the information given by the previously arrested accused American Pankra, Jashpur police was continuously searching for the third accused of robbery, Ratan Lakra. Three police teams were formed by Senior Superintendent of Police Jashpur, Shri Shashi Mohan Singh, to trace and arrest the absconding accused Ratan.And the informer system was activated, along with this the help of police's technical team was also being taken. The accused robber Ratan Lakra was so clever that he kept changing his location frequently to deceive the police, the police was continuously tracing him.

In Chhattisgarh, grand Tiranga Yatras were organized across the state today to connect the 'Citizens for National Security' program and the heroic saga of 'Operation Sindoor' with the people.This event became a clear symbol of tribute to the brave martyrs, respect for the courage of the Indian Army and civil solidarity.

Thousands of citizens participated in the historic Tiranga Yatra led by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai at Charaidand in Duldula Tehsil of Jashpur district.Chief Minister Shri Sai felicitated the families of the martyrs and described 'Operation Sindoor' as a symbol of national unity. He transformed the national resolve into a mass movement by starting a signature campaign.

Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw and Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu flagged off the Tiranga Yatra from the Mini Stadium in Bilaspur. MPs, Mayor, officials and the general public participated significantly in this Yatra that went up to Lakhiram Auditorium.

The rally saw overwhelming participation from villagers, women, children, elders, and government officials. This village is one of the last villages located on the border of Dantewada district, where inclusive development work is now being carried out at a fast pace under the Niyada Nellnar Scheme.Villagers accorded a warm welcome to Chief Minister Shri Sai by presenting him with a traditional garland made of Mahua and mango leaves and a Gaur crown. Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Chief Minister's Principal Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh and Director General of Police Arun Dev Gautam were also greeted with traditional bouquets made of Chhind leaves.

Chief Minister Shri Sai held a chaupal under the tamarind tree and interacted directly with the villagers. He listened to the ground level problems of the villagers and discussed the development priorities. He inspected the ration shop.Where he interacted with the beneficiaries and inquired about the regularity, quality and usage of ration distribution. During this, he also got the food grains weighed on the spot and saw the ration card of a beneficiary.Chief Minister Shri Sai had a cordial conversation with the children in Anganwadi and collected information about their knowledge of alphabets, colour recognition etc. and distributed chocolates to the children.

The CM made several important announcements on the spot, including approval of Rs 4 lakh for the construction of Andal Kosam Mata temple, establishment of a sub-health center in the village, construction of a connecting road to Nahadi, approval of Rs 5 lakh for the construction of a culvert and CC road to connect all the areas of the village.He further said that soon camps will be organized to make forest rights recognition certificate, Aadhar card and Ayushman card.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai met Ramshila Nag, a student from Dantewada who secured 9th position in the 10th board examination of the state.He was honoured with a bouquet of flowers and sweets and wished for his bright future.

This visit of Chief Minister Shri Sai to village Muller was not only a symbol of the sensitivity of good governance but also proves that the state government is committed to reach every last person in the state
