Korba Collector Ajit Vasant has suspended Patwari Govind Ram Kanwar of Pasan area with immediate effect. This action was taken based on a criminal case registered against Patwari Kanwar at Janjgir Police Station under Section 3(2) of the Chhattisgarh Gambling Prohibition Act.

In fact, on Saturday night, October 25th, a police team raided Raman Nagar, located in the City Kotwali police station area of ​​Janjgir Champa city. During the raid, six patwaris, including the acting state president of the Revenue Patwari Association, were caught gambling in a house.

Cash, cards, mobile phones, cars, and bikes were seized from the gamblers. The arrested accused were gambling at Ravi Rathore's house in Raman Nagar. Those arrested included Patwari Association President Hemchand Tiwari, Ravi Rathore, Umesh Kumar Patel, Govind Kanwar, Rahul Pratap, Devesh Ambasht, and the Patwari's personal computer operator, Harish Singh.
