Naxalite MMC spokesperson Anant issued a form to surrender by January 1.

00 Just as Satish in Chhattisgarh and Sonu in Maharashtra surrendered, we too will surrender before a Chief Minister or Home Minister.
Jagdalpur. Anant, spokesperson for the Madhya Pradesh-Maharashtra-Chhattisgarh Special Zonal Committee (MMC), issued a pamphlet stating that on January 1st, hundreds of Naxalites, all members of this committee, will surrender before the government to return to the mainstream. The pamphlet appealed to the Chief Ministers of Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Chhattisgarh to halt Naxal operations for a few days, stating, "We are in talks with our comrades." The Naxalites also expressed their desire to surrender before the Home Ministers or Chief Ministers of all three states. This is the second pamphlet issued by Anant in the past week. The first pamphlet called for surrendering by February 15th. The latest pamphlet calls for surrendering by January 1st.

Naxalite spokesperson Anant's pamphlet states, "We are releasing an open frequency, 435.715, for communication with our comrades. We will communicate with our comrades on this number every day from 11 am until January 1st." This is the first time the Naxalites have released their own open frequency. A Baofeng is a small, handheld walkie-talkie/handheld radio. It allows two people to communicate without mobile network access in the jungle, mountains, or even in crowded cities. It can be used by security guards, event management, trekking teams, police forces, and wildlife workers. A special frequency is set for Baofeng. If another device is on the same frequency, they can connect and communicate; there's no need for a mobile tower. Some frequencies are public, while others are government-owned and restricted. Using the wrong frequency can cause problems.
