Congress never prepared a roadmap for Naxal eradication, now taking false credit for its elimination: Saw
00 Hosting National Tribal Games is a matter of pride for Chhattisgarh
Raipur. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw strongly criticized the Congress's attempts to take false credit for Naxal eradication. He said that during its rule, the Congress neither made any concrete roadmap for Naxal eradication nor did any concrete work on the ground. He said that during the Congress government, liquor scam, coal scam, DMF scam and Mahadev Satta scam took place, which hampered the development of Chhattisgarh. During that period, Naxalites were given a free hand! And questions were raised on the morale of the security forces.
Speaking to reporters at his government office in Atal Nagar, Nava Raipur, Saw stated that a decisive battle is being waged against Naxalites under the resolve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai. He added that due to the courage and strategic operations of the security forces, highly-prized Naxalites are surrendering, being arrested, and being neutralized. Concrete action over the past two years will soon free Bastar from Naxalism, bringing prosperity and progress to the lives of its people.
Regarding preparations for the Tribal Games, Mr. Saw said that the Chhattisgarh government successfully organized the Bastar Olympics and will now host the Surguja Olympics. He added that Chhattisgarh has been entrusted with hosting the first-ever National Tribal Games, a matter of pride for the state. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the central and state governments are continuously working to promote sports and athletes. This will greatly benefit the youth and athletes of Chhattisgarh in the future.
