The Chief Minister inspected the construction work of the modern badminton court in the garden.

The construction work is being carried out at a cost of Rs 2 crore 83 lakh.

Jashpurnagar ). Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today inspected the construction of a modern badminton court in the Bagicha development block at a cost of ₹2.83 crore, fulfilling a long-standing demand from the area's athletes. While inspecting the construction site, the Chief Minister also issued necessary instructions to officials.

It is noteworthy that two wooden badminton courts are being constructed under this project. Separate toilets, dressing rooms, and seating arrangements will also be developed for the convenience of the players. The construction work is targeted to be completed by May.

Chief Minister Sai directed officials to ensure quality, timelines, and sports standards are maintained during construction, ensuring players receive a conducive environment for better training and competitions. The construction of this fully equipped sports infrastructure will provide a new platform for local and district youth players, enabling them to advance in badminton. This facility will encourage youth in the region to pursue sports and give a new direction to sports in the district. Present on the occasion were Surguja Tribal Development Authority Vice President and Pathalgaon MLA Gomti Sai, Jashpur MLA Raimuni Bhagat, District Panchayat President Salik Sai, District Panchayat Vice President Shaurya Pratap Singh Judev, Municipal Council President Prabhat Sidam, District Panchayat Member Gend Bihari Singh, District Panchayat Vice President Arvind Gupta, Krishna Rai, Inspector General Deepak Kumar Jha, Collector Rohit Vyas, Senior Superintendent of Police Shashi Mohan Singh, local public representatives, officials, employees, and villagers
