More than 1100 patients underwent free health check-up at the mega health camp organised at Bagicha.

Free medicines were also distributed along with necessary lab tests.

Jashpurnagar . A one-day mega health camp and health check-up camp was successfully organised in Bagicha on Thursday. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai had inaugurated the mega health camp along with the inauguration of the new building of the 30-bed community health centre constructed at a cost of Rs 2 crore 43 lakh 72 thousand in Bagicha. A large number of citizens from the surrounding rural and remote areas including Bagicha participated in the mega health camp. The camp provided free consultation, health check-up and treatment by specialist doctors. A total of 1109 patients were examined during the camp, who were provided treatment as per their need and free medicines were also distributed.

In the health camp, services were provided by specialist doctors from various departments like General Medicine, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Nephrology and Plastic Surgery. Adequate arrangements were also made to refer patients suffering from serious and complicated diseases to well-equipped higher medical institutions for better treatment. In the camp, 125 patients of Neurology, 65 of Gastroenterology, 148 of ENT, 172 of Medicine, 46 of Plastic Surgery, 29 of Nephrology, 161 of Orthopedics, 60 of Obstetrics and Gynecology, 80 of Ophthalmology and 223 patients were examined and treated in the general OPD.
