Sports officials and coaches from various states visited the major tourist destinations in Mainpat, Surguja district, and experienced the natural beauty, cultural heritage, and warm hospitality. Guests visited Mainpat's famous Tibetan Monastery, the mysterious Ulta Pani, and the unique natural site Jaljali. The uniqueness and natural charm of these sites captivated everyone. Officials and coaches stated that Mainpat is a unique tourist destination not only for Chhattisgarh but for the entire country, offering a wonderful confluence of nature and tranquility.
During the visit, all guests enjoyed lunch at the Chhattisgarh Tourism Board's Saila Resort. The traditional Chhattisgarhi dishes served here, such as cheela, fara, thethri-khurmi, and other dishes rich in local flavors, were heartily appreciated by the guests. Officials said that Chhattisgarhi cuisine is as simple as it is delicious and nutritious. Guests particularly praised the easygoing, simple, and cordial behavior of the local residents of Mainpat. They said that the hospitality here made them feel at home, further strengthening the identity of Chhattisgarh.
