86th divisional conference of Chhattisgarh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board concluded
Administrative approval of approximately Rs 45 crore for various housing and infrastructure projects
Approval was also given for proposals regarding uniformity in GST payment system, direct recruitment under Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 and revised dearness allowance.
Raipur, Chhattisgarh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board Chairman Mr. Anurag Singh Dev said that many new housing projects and administrative proposals have been approved in the conference, which will give new impetus to quality housing and infrastructure development in the state. The 86th divisional conference of the board was held today at the divisional headquarters, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, under the chairmanship of Chairman Mr. Anurag Singh Dev. Various important proposals related to housing and infrastructure development in the state were considered and approved in the conference.
Three major housing projects get approval
Deendayal Housing Colony, Kohka (Tilda), Raipur District – Administrative approval was granted for the construction of commercial-cum-residential cell buildings in Deendayal Housing Colony, Kohka. A total of 76 residential and commercial units will be constructed under this project. The estimated cost of the project is approximately ₹10.37 crore.
Self-financing Atal Vihar Yojana, Ginabahar, District Jashpur – Approval has been given for the development of 97 residential buildings, including 6 MIG, 64 LIG, and 27 EWS, and 7 acres of land in Ginabahar. The estimated cost of this project is approximately ₹17.51 crore.
Administrative approval was granted for the construction of 200 EWS houses and external development of 5 acres of land in Sardha under a self-financing scheme, Sardha (Lormi), District Mungeli. The estimated cost of this project is approximately ₹16.94 crore. Administrative approval for these three projects totaled approximately ₹44.82 crore.
Administrative and policy proposals also approved
In the conference, it was decided to implement a uniform standard procedure to bring uniformity in the GST payment system and royalty clearance certificate related procedures for construction works. Apart from this, it was decided to implement the marking of posts for reservation of persons with disabilities in direct recruitment under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 in the Board as per the notification of the Social Welfare Department dated 25 February 2026. The proposal to give revised dearness allowance to the officers and employees of the Board as per the employees of the State Government was also approved.
Approval for appointment of agency in PPP mode for operation of Queens Club of India
The conference also approved the tender document and license agreement format for agency selection under license based PPP model for development, operation and maintenance of Queens Club of India.
Properties worth Rs 317 crore sold in the first four months of 2026
The members were informed at the conference that the Board has successfully sold 1,647 properties worth approximately Rs 317 crore in the first four months of the year 2026. This achievement reflects the growing public confidence in the Board's schemes.
Chhattisgarh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board Commissioner Shri Awanish Kumar Sharan, Housing and Environment Department Special Secretary Shri D.S. Bhardwaj, Public Works Department representative Shri G.R. Raote, Finance Department representative Shri Nikhil Agarwal, HUDCO representative Shri Hitesh Barot and other senior officials of the Board were present at the 86th Board Conference.
