PM Suryaghar Excellence Award will be given for better performance in the “Month of Solar” campaign.

Ranked 2nd in the country for highest number of vendor registrations in the category of states with medium consumer base

Raipur/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has said that it is a matter of great pride and happiness for the state that Chhattisgarh has been honored at the national level for its outstanding performance in the "Month of Solar" campaign organized under the Prime Minister's Solar House: Free Electricity Scheme. He said that this achievement is a testament to the continuous efforts being made in the state towards clean energy, energy self-sufficiency and effective implementation of public welfare schemes.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Chhattisgarh has achieved second place in the country in terms of highest number of vendor registrations in the category of states with medium consumer base, for which the state has been selected for the PM Suryaghar Excellence Award. He said that this achievement is a positive result of the state's activeness in the energy sector, effective implementation of schemes and public participation.

Chief Minister Shri Sai extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Energy Department, CREDA, power distribution companies, all officers, employees, and partner organizations for this significant achievement. He said that due to teamwork, commitment, and excellent coordination, Chhattisgarh is establishing its unique identity at the national level.

The Chief Minister said that under the able leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the state government is pursuing with full commitment the resolve to build an energy-reliant, environmentally friendly, and green Chhattisgarh. He expressed confidence that such efforts to promote solar energy will not only provide economic relief to the citizens of the state but will also play an important role in achieving clean and sustainable development.
