The Chief Minister listened to the public in the Janchaupal and gave the gift of development works.

Raipur/Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, under the Good Governance Festival, today held a Janchaupal in village Bhikhampura of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, interacted directly with the villagers, listened to their problems and made several important announcements for the development of the area. Sitting on a traditional cot in the Janchaupal organized in the cowshed premises, the Chief Minister interacted with the villagers, women, public representatives and women from self-help groups and inquired about their problems, suggestions and expectations.

Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that Good Governance Festival is not merely an administrative campaign, but a means to strengthen trust, communication, and accountability between the government and the public. He said that the state government is reaching out to every village to listen to people's problems and is committed to their prompt and quality resolution. He directed officials to ensure timely resolution of public applications and complaints.

The Chief Minister said that a true evaluation of government schemes is possible only when the government itself reaches out to the people and gathers their feedback. To this end, Jan Chaupals and Samadhan camps are being organized across the state.

Addressing the villagers present at the Janchaupal, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the state government is continuously working to bring the benefits of development and public welfare to the last person in society. He informed about the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, various schemes run for the benefit of farmers, the Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, and efforts being made for the empowerment of women self-help groups. He said that the government's objective is not only to create schemes, but also to ensure that their benefits reach every eligible beneficiary.

During the Janchaupal, the Chief Minister made several important announcements in response to demands presented by the villagers. He announced the construction of a fully equipped community hall for the snake charmer community, the construction of a Mangal Bhawan in the settlement area, the construction of concrete roads in the village's internal streets, and the beautification of the Dabri pond located near the Chandi temple. The Chief Minister also announced that the village primary school would be named after Pandit Hridayananda Panigrahi.

The Chief Minister stated that development of rural areas is a top priority for the state government, and continuous work is being done in the areas of infrastructure, education, health, drinking water, roads, and livelihoods. He urged villagers to take advantage of government schemes and play an active role in development work.

On this occasion, Finance Minister Mr. O.P. Chaudhary said that the Chief Minister's direct visit to the village amid the scorching heat and his interaction with the people is a testament to his sensitive work style and dedication to public service. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Dev Sai, development and good governance have taken a new direction in the state, and the benefits of government schemes are rapidly reaching the last person.

Chief Minister's Secretary Shri P. Dayanand, Chief Minister's Special Secretary Shri Rajat Bansal along with a large number of public representatives, administrative officers and villagers were present in the program.
