Raipur. Such a body transformation is rare at the age of 45. Chhattisgarh cadre IAS officer Awanish Sharan is currently in the news for his fitness. People are commenting on his new photos, saying he rivals Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan in terms of fitness.

Born in Samastipur, Bihar, Avneesh Sharan's story is not just about fitness, but also about struggle and passion. He reportedly failed the State Public Service Commission preliminary exam more than 10 times, but he never gave up and ultimately became an IAS officer.

Awanish Sharan completed his early education at RB College in Dalsinghsarai. He himself stated that he scored only 44 percent in matriculation, 65 percent in intermediate, and 60.7 percent in graduation.

He started his fitness journey during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. However, maintaining regular workouts wasn't easy due to his job, family, and other responsibilities. He had to pause his training after undergoing surgery in 2024, but he resumed his training in June 2025.

This time, he didn't rush things. Through regular strength training, a balanced diet, adequate sleep, and consistent discipline, he completely transformed himself. Working out five to six days a week, daily walks, a diet rich in fruits and vegetables, and focusing on physical recovery became part of his daily routine.

Avneesh Sharan revealed that his daughter Vedika was the biggest inspiration behind his fitness journey. He was determined to achieve the best physique of his life before her birthday. His wife, Rudrani, also supported him throughout this journey.

Today his pictures are going viral on social media and people are praising his struggle, hard work and passion for fitness.
