00 Online application till 31 July, talented children in the age group of 5 to 18 years can apply
Raipur. Nominations have been invited for the Prime Minister's National Child Award-2026 with the aim of honouring the extraordinary talent, innovation, courage and social contribution of children at the national level. The Women and Child Development Department has appealed to the talented children, parents, educational institutions and social organisations of the state to apply in maximum numbers.The Prime Minister's National Child Award is considered the country's highest child honor, given to children who have achieved outstanding achievements in fields such as bravery, social service, environmental protection, sports, arts and culture, and science and technology. This prestigious award is conferred by the President of India.
According to departmental information, children between the ages of 5 and 18 are eligible for the award. The deadline for nominations is July 31, 2026. Interested children can apply themselves. Parents, schools, social organizations, and other individuals can also nominate eligible children. All applications will be accepted online through the National Awards portal. The state government has urged innovative, talented, and inspiring children from the state to take advantage of this opportunity and apply within the stipulated timeframe to have their achievements recognized nationally.
