PM Modi's strong message on paper leak, culprits will be punished severely: CM Sai
Raipur . Following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's late-night video message, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai welcomed the central government's strong action against paper leaks. He said the Prime Minister's resolve to take strong action against paper leaks is unprecedented and will strengthen the confidence of millions of students across the country.
In his message, Prime Minister Modi said that the paper leak is not a minor issue, but rather causes deep anguish to millions of students and their parents. He stated that several important steps have been taken in the past two and a half months since the incident.
The culprits have been arrested and sent to jail, and the government's priority has been to ensure that students' academic sessions are not disrupted. To this end, re-examinations were held on time, and the results were declared on July 19th.
PM Modi stated that the government will not limit itself to arrests. To ensure prompt and effective action against crimes like paper leaks, relevant departments have been instructed to prepare proposals for the establishment of fast-track courts. The departments have submitted the draft to the government, which will be discussed in the Cabinet meeting today.
The proposed system will ensure that paper leak cases are heard in fast-track courts and that the perpetrators face severe punishment. Chief Minister Sai said that strict action against those who jeopardize the future of youth is the need of the hour, and the central government is taking decisive steps in this direction.
