Jashpur Women Empowerment News:  On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai launched the 'Jashpur Express' scheme from Bagiya Camp office in Jashpur district. Under the scheme, e-rickshaws were provided to 50 women. The Chief Minister said that e-rickshaws will not only be a means of transport for women but will also become a medium for regular income and respectable self-employment. During the program, women from self-help groups tied Rakhi on the Chief Minister's wrist. The Chief Minister wished Rakshabandhan to the sisters by gifting them sarees and sweets.

The Chief Minister said that women's economic self-reliance is the foundation of a strong family and a prosperous society. Last Rakshabandhan, 14 women were given e-rickshaws, while this time 50 women benefited from them. He added that 92 women in Raipur have been provided e-rickshaws, and the women driving e-rickshaws are earning approximately 15,000 rupees per month. The government is emphasizing providing new employment opportunities to women through training, financial assistance, and market connections.

The "Jashpur Express" will provide women with a means of livelihood locally, while also providing convenient transportation for passengers. The Chief Minister urged women to move forward with their hard work and confidence. He noted that women from self-help groups, along with grocery, vegetable businesses, and other small enterprises, are now increasing their participation in the transportation sector.

Bagiya gets development works worth about Rs 3 crore

At the event, the Chief Minister performed the groundbreaking ceremony for a rest house to be built in Bagiya at a cost of approximately Rs 3 crore. Furthermore, the groundbreaking ceremony was also held for the construction of a concrete road to Yadav Mohalla. The Chief Minister stated that the expansion of roads, buildings, and other infrastructure in rural areas is a priority for the government.

This Rakshabandhan event also featured a heartfelt conversation between the women and the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister said that the affection and blessings of his sisters inspire him to continue working for public service and the state's development. Collector Rohit Vyas, Senior Superintendent of Police Lal Umed Singh, District Panchayat CEO Abhishek Kumar, along with officials and a large number of women from self-help groups were present at the event.
