Accident: A speeding Fortuner rammed into a tractor-trolley loaded with sand, killing five people on the spot.
Desk. Road Accident: News of a tragic road accident in Gwalior on Saturday morning shook the entire region. A speeding Fortuner slammed into a tractor-trolley loaded with sand on National Highway 44 in the Sirol police station area, killing five people on the spot. The severity of the collision can be gauged from the fact that the car was shattered and the bodies were stuck to the vehicle's body.
The deceased have been identified as Abhimanyu Tomar, Aditya Jadon, Raj Purohit, Kaushlendra Bhadoria, and Prince Rajawat. All of them were residents of Gwalior and were returning from Jhansi. Upon receiving information about the accident, police from the Siroli police station arrived at the scene and began relief operations.
According to police, the Fortuner car was speeding down the highway, and a tractor-trailer carrying sand was traveling in the same direction. Suddenly, the car collided with the tractor from behind. The impact was so powerful that the front of the car was pinned beneath the trolley, crushing the entire frame.
During the rescue operation, the police had to struggle to retrieve the bodies. They were removed by cutting open the damaged car with a gas cutter. All the bodies were then sent for post-mortem examination. The police have established a case and launched an investigation.
Local residents say that heavy vehicle movement and high speed on NH-44 often lead to accidents, but lack of lighting and signals on the highway at night is also a major cause of accidents.
Police officials said the trolley driver is being questioned and an investigation is underway to determine whether the trolley was equipped with rear reflectors or indicators at the time of the accident. Technical aspects of the Fortuner's speed, braking distance, and vehicle control are also being investigated.
As news of the accident spread throughout Gwalior city, relatives of the deceased began arriving at the hospital. The five young men were friends and were returning to the city late at night. Police are now trying to determine the exact cause of the accident based on CCTV footage, eyewitness accounts, and technical investigations.
This accident on NH-44 once again raises serious questions about speeding and highway safety. Police have also issued instructions to intensify checking of sand-laden trolleys and other heavy vehicles on the highway.
Learned to print notes from the internet, 10th-grade pass set up a setup at home, currency worth lakhs recovered
Police in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, have arrested a 21-year-old man who used to print fake currency notes at home using a printer and other equipment. The interrogation of the accused revealed shocking revelations. Police seized fake currency notes worth more than ₹225,000, a computer, a printer, a punch machine, and a large quantity of currency making materials from his home. The accused had previously worked in a printing press, knowledge of which he used in this illegal activity.
Arrest made as soon as information was received
Additional DCP Zone-2 Gautam Solanki said that this action was taken in Piplani police station area. On 14th November, information was received that a youth wearing a black shirt was trying to spend fake notes of Rs 500 each in Nizamuddin area. Police laid a siege and caught the accused on the spot. During interrogation, the youth told his name as Vivek Yadav, who lives in Karond area of Bhopal. During search, 23 fake notes of Rs 500 each were found from him, which looked absolutely real at first glance. After this, police took him to the police station and started questioning him in detail.
Videos of making fake notes found in the mobile
When the police searched the mobile of the accused, they found many videos related to making fake notes. Vivek used to watch these videos again and again and learn the technique and make notes. He told that he used to check each fake note several times so that there is no defect in it. The accused told that he has worked in a printing press and understands the techniques of colours, paper and cutting very well. He used to order special paper online, cut it with a blade, make markings with a pencil, then put RBI strip on a separate paper and join both the papers. After this, he used to print the note from the printer and make it look like the original one. Finally, by adding watermark, he used to make the note completely look like the original one.
Accused Vivek, who has circulated counterfeit notes worth ₹5 to ₹6 lakh,
revealed that he had already circulated approximately ₹5 to ₹6 lakh in counterfeit currency. He would purchase small items and exchange them for counterfeit ₹500 notes, accepting real change. He would always go to areas far from his home to avoid suspicion.
A large quantity of material was recovered from the house.
When the police raided his house, 428 fake notes of Rs 500 were found, whose total value is Rs 2,25,500. Along with this, computer, printer, punch machine, note printing die, glue, cutter, screen plate, viable paper, light box, steel scale and dot stepping foil were also seized. Beware of fake salt, huge quantity of Tata Salt recovered... panic in the market
In a major operation, a joint team of police and Tata Company seized 225 kg of counterfeit Tata salt from a shop in Sahabganj Mandi, located in the Rajghat police station area of Gorakhpur. The raid was conducted based on a complaint from the company's investigating officer. According to officials, the salt packaging was so authentic that ordinary consumers could not distinguish between the real and the fake. Police have registered a case based on the complaint of the company official.
Fake salt poses a major health risk
Health experts say that adulterated salt can be extremely dangerous to human health. Consuming such salt frequently can harm the digestive system and cause problems like stomach pain and gas. Long-term use can also increase the risk of heart disease, cancer, kidney problems, and osteoporosis. This seizure has raised serious questions about consumer safety.

Second major seizure in two months
This incident has created a stir in the entire Mandi area. Significantly, this is the second time in the past two months that a large consignment of counterfeit salt has been seized from this area, raising suspicions that a large-scale trade in adulterated salt is taking place in the city, blatantly endangering people's health.
Company official told the whole truth
Damru Anand, a resident of Palamkot in Noida and an investigation officer of Tata Company, said in his complaint that he had received information that fake salt was being sold in the name of Tata brand in Sahabganj Mandi. Upon confirmation of the information, the company team and Rajghat police conducted a joint raid on November 12.
During the search, 225 kg of fake salt packed in nine sacks was found in the shop of businessman Lavkush Prasad. The packing, label and seal were so similar that it was almost impossible to differentiate between the real and fake. The police have registered a case against the accused under several sections including the Copyright Act.
SP City gave information about the investigation
Superintendent of Police (City) Abhinav Tyagi stated that a case has been registered against the trader under relevant sections and the investigation is underway. Samples of the recovered salt have been sent to the lab. Officials say this network may be linked to a larger gang, and the investigation is ongoing.
