Raipur: In keeping with Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai's vision, the administration has taken another important step toward fulfilling its resolve to connect remote and Naxal-affected areas of Bastar with the mainstream of development. The Sukma District Administration today inaugurated a new bus service on the Sukma to Chittalnar route under the "Chief Minister's Rural Bus Scheme."
Expanding Connectivity in Sukma:
This bus service, launched under the able guidance of Collector Mr. Amit Kumar, is the 10th bus service in the district. This bus service will prove to be a boon, especially for areas previously lacking public transportation. The operation of this bus will directly benefit the villagers of Jhapra, Buddi, Kasturi, Talnar, Puspal, Sautnar, and Chittalnar villages. Additionally, the district administration operates buses on nine routes: Jagdalpur to Konta-2, Sukma to Badesetti, Puspal to Chhindgarh, Gadiras to Oler, Dornapal to Kattapalli, Maraiguda to Sukma, and Sukma to Maraiguda, under the Chief Minister's Rural Bus Service Scheme.
On this historic occasion, senior public representatives Shri Dhaniram Barse, Shri Vishwaraj Chauhan, Municipal Council President Shri Hungaram Markam and Vice President Smt. Bhuneshwari Yadav along with BJP leaders flagged off the bus .
Senior public representative Shri Dhaniram Barse said that this bus service is not just a vehicle for the villagers of remote forest areas, but a bridge to connect with the district headquarters and access development opportunities.
Collector Mr. Amit Kumar stated that the Chief Minister's Rural Bus Service has ensured direct connectivity to the Naxal-affected and remote areas of Sukma with the district headquarters, giving the region's connectivity a new dimension. Under this scheme, a total of 10 buses now operate on various rural routes in the district, not only expanding the transportation network but also freeing villagers from the constraints of private transportation and exorbitant fares.
This initiative , an example of administrative sensitivity,
will provide relief to the interior Naxal-affected areas of Sukma district, where villagers faced significant transportation difficulties due to geographical limitations. Now, students, farmers, and patients will be able to easily reach the district headquarters. This administration initiative ensures that government schemes reach the last mile.
