Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai presented a Tata Sierra car as a gift to Indian women's cricket team's physiotherapist and Chhattisgarh's daughter, Mrs. Akanksha Satyavanshi, at a grand ceremony held at his residence in Nava Raipur today. On this occasion, the Chief Minister congratulated Mrs. Akanksha and said that our daughters have brought pride to the country by winning the World Cup. He appreciated this initiative of Tata Motors to gift the car to honor and encourage the women's cricket team.
Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that there is no shortage of sporting talent in the state and the state government is working with full commitment to promote sports. He added that the continuous development of sports infrastructure is providing better training to the state's athletes, resulting in their excellent performance at the national and international levels. The Chief Minister said that through initiatives like the Bastar Olympics and Surguja Olympics, youth from remote areas of the state are also becoming involved in sports. The state's hosting of the National Tribal Games has also created a positive environment for sports in the state.

The Chief Minister said that this historic achievement by the women's cricket team will inspire the state's daughters to move forward. He said that Akanksha's confidence and energy were inspiring during their last meeting, and that the same enthusiasm is evident today. He expressed confidence that this same spirit will lead the team to success in future World Cups.
Mrs. Akanksha Satyavanshi, physiotherapist for the Indian women's cricket team, said that after returning from the World Cup victory, the Chief Minister of the state, Mr. Vishnudev Sai, was the first to encourage the entire team and, as a daughter of the state, invited her to meet him personally. She said that this affection and encouragement from the Chief Minister, like a guardian, always boosts her morale.

Mrs. Akanksha said that receiving this honor from the Chief Minister today has made her day memorable and this moment will always be special in her life. She also shared her experiences related to her role as a physiotherapist in the team and the journey to the World Cup victory. On this occasion, Dr. Rampratap Singh, President of the Building and Other Construction Workers Board, Mrs. Akanksha's family members and representatives of Tata Motors were present.
It is noteworthy that Tata Motors is gifting a Tata Sierra SUV car to the Indian women's cricket team to commemorate their historic victory in the ICC Women's World Cup 2025. In this sequence, Mrs. Akanksha Satyavanshi, a resident of Chhattisgarh and physiotherapist of the Indian women's cricket team, was also presented a Tata Sierra car today.

The Indian women's cricket team made history last year by winning its first Women's World Cup title. In honor of this achievement, Tata Motors announced that it would gift each player of the team a top-end model of the Sierra SUV.
