Raipur.On the occasion of International Women's Day, Navsarjan Manch, a prestigious social organization in the state, honored 65 women for their outstanding work in various fields with the Chhattisgarh Mahatari Alankaran Samman. In addition, 12 self-help groups that have made significant contributions to society were also honored with the Mahatari Gaurav Samman. The program began with the garlanding of Chhattisgarh Mahatari's portrait, the lighting of lamps, and the singing of the national anthem, "Arpa Pairi Ke Dhar." Women who have accomplished significant work in various fields, including society, education, medicine, administration, and social service, were invited to the stage and honored. In his presidential address, the organization's state president, Amarjeet Singh Chhabra, highlighted the activities of Navsarjan Manch and the purpose of the Mahatari Samman event, stating that such events provide encouragement and inspiration to those who contribute positively to society. He also shared information about the upcoming "Beti Janmotsav" (Beti Janmotsav) program, to be held on March 20th. Additional SP Suresha Choubey, Additional SP Archana Jha, IPS officer Milena Kurre, AIIMS professor Dr. J. Jaya Reka, and social worker Sushma Tiwari were present as guests and shared their views. As part of the felicitation ceremony, 65 women who have achieved outstanding work in various fields were invited to the stage and honored with a garland of rupees and a seal, along with mementos and certificates. The selected women reached Raipur from 22 districts of the state including Narayanpur, Surguja, Dhamtari, Bilaspur, Korba, Raigarh. Many women had come to Raipur a day or two in advance to attend the program, which shows their eagerness and respect for the importance of this event.
