Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai listened to the 132nd episode of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's popular monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat at the Chief Minister's residence today and called it inspirational for nation building. He said that this programme infuses new energy and inspiration in the society by providing a national platform to positive innovations and public participation taking place in every corner of the country.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's appreciation of the water conservation efforts of farmers in Korea district is a matter of immense pride and inspiration for Chhattisgarh. It demonstrates that grassroots work in the state is now gaining national recognition. He added that through innovative models like Awa Pani Jhokki, farmers have done commendable work in conserving rainwater by constructing recharge ponds and soak pits in their fields. This public participation-based initiative has become a powerful example of improving groundwater levels and is also guiding other areas.

The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, water conservation has now become a mass movement, and extensive work is being done in Chhattisgarh, linking it with public participation. He called upon the people of the state to make water conservation a part of their daily lives and play an active role in it. Chief Minister Sai said that the Prime Minister's messages on topics such as self-reliance in fish production, promoting fitness, reducing sugar intake, and creating a conducive environment for sports during the Mann Ki Baat program are extremely useful and inspiring. He said that planned efforts are being made to promote fisheries in the state, connect youth with sports, and encourage a healthy lifestyle, which will strengthen the rural economy and create new opportunities for youth.
Chief Minister Sai, citing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's message regarding the situation in West Asia, said that the country is fully prepared to face every challenge and that the central and state governments are working in coordination. He assured the people of the state that there is adequate availability of petroleum products, cooking gas, and other essential commodities in Chhattisgarh, and that the supply system is completely smooth and normal. He appealed to the citizens to stay away from rumors and trust only official information.
Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is fully committed to leading Chhattisgarh towards a safe, prosperous, and water-rich future by strengthening water conservation with the power of public participation, and that the state is continuously charting a new course of development through innovation, participation, and good governance. MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Civil Supplies Corporation Shri Sanjay Srivastava, Media Advisor to the Chief Minister Shri Krishna Das, and a large number of dignitaries were present on the occasion.
