Raipur - Amidst the historic success achieved in eliminating Naxalism in Chhattisgarh, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai at his residence in Nava Raipur today. On this occasion, Shri Sharma congratulated the Chief Minister on this major achievement in eliminating Naxalism and presented him with a bouquet of flowers. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that a Naxal-free Chhattisgarh will now move towards a new era of development, trust, and prosperity. He stated that Naxalism remained the biggest obstacle to the state's progress for years, and the Bastar region in particular remained under the shadow of red terror for a long time. The Chief Minister said that the situation is rapidly changing, and the mainstream of development is strengthening in all Naxal-affected areas. A new environment of peace, security, and development is being created across the state, including Bastar, and positive changes are clearly visible in the lives of the common people. Chief Minister Shri Sai attributed this historic achievement to the determination, clear policies, and effective strategies of the country's illustrious Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah. He said that under his leadership, the dream of a fear-free and secure Chhattisgarh is becoming a reality. The Chief Minister paid heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the campaign against Naxalism, saying that their martyrdom laid the foundation for this success. He praised the indomitable courage, dedication and devotion of the security forces and said that this achievement is the result of their tireless efforts. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that in a Naxal-free environment, Chhattisgarh will now rapidly scale new heights of development and establish its strong identity among the leading states of the country.
