Raipur. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai extended his best wishes to young mountaineer Ms. Amita Shrivas of Janjgir-Champa district for her upcoming Mount Everest expedition. During his meeting with mountaineer Ms. Amita Shrivas at the Chief Minister's residence in Raipur, the state capital, Sai stated that Ms. Amita is leaving for Kathmandu on April 9th ​​with the resolve to hoist the Indian flag atop Mount Everest, the world's highest peak. This is not merely a journey of personal achievement, but a soaring exaltation of the aspirations, courage, and self-confidence of the entire state of Chhattisgarh.


He stated that Amita's expedition is proof that if the resolve is unwavering, no height is impossible. Chief Minister Shri Sai stated that Amita Shrivas has already demonstrated her ability and perseverance by conquering Mount Kilimanjaro on the occasion of International Women's Day in 2021.
