Reference Scheme and National Child Health Programme,
Balrampur. The health schemes of the state government are becoming a new ray of hope for children suffering from serious diseases and congenital problems. Free and quality treatment is being provided to the needy children of the state through Chief Minister's Child Reference Scheme and National Child Health Programme (Chirayu). Under this initiative, three-year-old Devik Kumar Yadav, resident of village Chainpur of Kusmi development block of Balrampur district, has been successfully connected to the new world of hearing by cochlear implant.
In coordination with the RBSK team, Devik was referred to AIIMS Raipur, where, after a detailed examination, specialist doctors successfully performed a cochlear implant on February 25, 2026. Devik's hearing has improved significantly since the operation, and he is now able to hear sounds and recognize sounds around him.
Devik's father, Mr. Purandar Yadav, explained that due to his financial circumstances, such expensive treatment was unimaginable, but the Chirayu scheme has brought new light to his son's life. Expressing his gratitude to the government and the health department, he said that this scheme has opened the way to a better future for his child.
The Chief Minister's Child Reference Scheme and the Chirayu program operating in the state are proving to be a boon for many children who require timely treatment and specialized healthcare services. These schemes are ensuring access to healthcare facilities in remote areas of the state, bringing positive changes to the lives of children.
