Jashpur. In the field of environmental protection and public participation, Jashpur Forest Division has achieved a historic feat by registering its name in the Golden Book of World Records by spreading and planting more than 2 lakh seed balls in a single day. For this remarkable achievement, in a program organized at the Chief Minister's camp office in Bagiya, the State Head of Golden Book of World Records, Mrs. Sonal Rajesh Sharma, in the presence of Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai, presented the official certificate to Jashpur Forest Division. Divisional Forest Officer Shri Shashi Kumar received this certificate on behalf of the Forest Division.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai congratulated the Jashpur Forest Division, the Forest Department, and all the citizens associated with the campaign, stating that environmental protection is not just a government responsibility, but a collective responsibility of society. He said that the "Banabo Beej Gola, Jashpur Ke Jungle La Badhabo" campaign being run in Jashpur has emerged as an excellent example of public participation and nature conservation.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that when the government, administration, and society work together for a positive purpose, even seemingly impossible goals can be easily achieved. He said that this achievement is a matter of pride not only for Jashpur, but for the entire state of Chhattisgarh and will serve as an inspiration for other districts in the field of environmental protection.

The Jashpur Forest Division organized a large-scale seedball propagation program in various areas of the district as part of the ambitious campaign, "Bring the Seed Balls, Enhance the Jashpur Forest." The campaign aims to strengthen environmental balance by conserving natural vegetation, enhancing biodiversity, and increasing green cover

The campaign's most significant feature was the widespread public participation. Local villagers, public representatives, students, women's self-help groups, social organizations, forest department officials and employees, and ordinary citizens participated enthusiastically. With the support of thousands of people, the campaign evolved into a mass movement, setting a new record by distributing over 200,000 seed balls in a single day.

This achievement has given Jashpur district a new identity at the national and international level. It also proves that through community participation, significant and positive results can be achieved in the field of environmental protection. District Panchayat Chairman Mr. Salik Sai, Collector Mr. Rohit Vyas, Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Umed Singh, Forest Department officials and employees, representatives from various social organizations, and a large number of citizens were present on this occasion.
