Raipur. CG WEATHER UPDATE: Monsoon has brought relief to those suffering from heat and humidity. The monsoon, which had been delayed for a long time, entered Chhattisgarh on June 22nd, changing the weather in many areas. Rain fell in several areas, including Dantewada, Bijapur, and Raipur. This also led to a drop in temperature. The weather in the capital, Raipur, remained pleasant on Tuesday morning.

The Meteorological Department has predicted temperatures in central regions will remain around 3 degrees above normal for the next two days. Rain and thunderstorm activity are expected in the state for the next five days. Light to moderate rainfall occurred at a few locations on Monday. The highest temperature was 40 degrees Celsius in Rajnandgaon, while the lowest temperature was recorded at 22.7 degrees Celsius in Jagdalpur.

. Clouds are expected to bring another round of rain to Raipur. Cloudy skies, rain, and strong winds are expected. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be around 23 degrees Celsius.

The southern regions of the state received the most rainfall. Jagdalpur in Bastar district received 5 cm and Nangur 2 cm, Kuakonda in Dantewada district received 3 cm, Katekalyan and Geedam received 1 cm, and Balrampur received 2 cm. Bhairamgarh and Gadiras also received 1 cm of rain each.

The Meteorological Department (IMD
) informed that a seasonal trough at mean sea level extends from Rajasthan to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, while another trough extends from Telangana to Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu, up to the Gulf of Mannar.

Rain and Strong Wind Warning:
Light to moderate rain is expected in some parts of the state today. Strong winds may blow at speeds of up to 50 km/h. Thunderstorms and lightning are also expected. Similar weather conditions are expected for the next two days. Thunderstorms and strong winds (40-50 km/h) are likely.
