CHHATTISGARH: High Court gives relief to Commissioner!

Bhilai. Bhilai Municipal Corporation Commissioner Rajiv Kumar Pandey has received a major relief from the Chhattisgarh High Court. The court has dismissed a petition seeking his removal from office and a suspension from his duties. The decision makes it clear that he will remain in his position for the time being.

The petition was filed by Congress councillors of the Bhilai Municipal Corporation, led by the mayor. They stated that a resolution to remove the commissioner was unanimously passed in the general assembly, but despite this, he continues to serve in his position.
