Labor Minister of Chhattisgarh Government, Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan and Chairman of Chhattisgarh Bhawan Evam Anu Nirman Karmakar Kalyan Mandal, Dr. Rampratap Singh, by pressing a button, transferred an amount of 18.23 crores to the accounts of 9328 construction workers of the state through DBT and benefited them under various schemes. Today, on Tuesday, the board meeting of Chhattisgarh Bhawan Evam Anu Nirman Karmakar Kalyan Mandal, located at Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, was held in the special presence of Labor Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Devangan and Chairman of the Board, Dr. Rampratap Singh.

On this occasion, Labor Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan stated that in accordance with the vision of both Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, all schemes, including education, health, safety equipment, sports promotion, empowerment, housing, and pension, are being implemented efficiently and timely to provide benefits to the state's working brothers and sisters, as well as their families. The Sai government is a worker-friendly government. Following Chief Minister Shri Sai's instructions, over ₹800 crore has been transferred to the accounts of working brothers and sisters from all the boards under the Labor Department in the last two years. The Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board alone has benefited over 11 lakh workers with funds totaling over ₹500 crore.

00 Approval received for the remaining Rs 22 crore 59 lakh for the construction of the hospital building
Raipur. Another major achievement has been achieved towards the expansion of health facilities in the state. Due to the special efforts of Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, the 200-bed district hospital building of Baikunthpur in Korea district, which was lying incomplete for years, will now be completed soon. The state government has approved Rs 22 crore 59 lakh for the remaining construction work of the hospital building by including it in the main budget year 2025-26.

In the 2020-21 financial year, administrative approval for this project was granted for ₹35 crore from the District Mineral Foundation (DMF). Only ₹13 crore was released to the construction agency in six installments. Meanwhile, due to the division of Korea district and the formation of the Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district, funds from the DMF could not be allocated, and construction work stalled due to a lack of budget.

Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal took this sensitive issue seriously and conducted continuous review and coordination at the government level. Upon his direction, the Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation Limited (CGMSC) prepared a proposal and sent it to the state government, which was accepted and included in the main budget for 2025-26.

Now, with the approval of ₹22.59 crore (225.9 million rupees), construction work on the 200-bed district hospital building will resume. Its completion will provide advanced healthcare facilities to thousands of citizens in Korea district and border areas, and serious patients will no longer have to travel to larger cities for treatment. This decision is considered a decisive step toward strengthening the state's health infrastructure.

00 Timely supply of medicines should be ensured, necessary action will be taken on negligence
Raipur. Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal today attended an important review meeting of Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation (CGMSC). In the meeting, a detailed review of the issues related to medicines, medical equipment and health infrastructure in the state was done. The Health Minister directed that under no circumstances there should be a shortage of essential medicines in the state and timely supply of medicines should be ensured. He said that in this matter of public importance, it is necessary that timely and quality medicines should be made available to the common citizens.

To make the drug supply system more efficient and transparent, the Health Minister directed the development of a live tracking system to obtain real-time information on the availability, stock, and expiry of medicines in hospitals. He also emphasized the need to ensure the availability of medicines at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and to establish better coordination between demand and supply. Instructions were given
during the meeting to ensure strict adherence to all quality testing standards for medicines and medical equipment. Emphasis was also placed on maintaining the consistent availability of essential consumables for hospitals. The Health Minister also directed that necessary action be taken against districts that are not receiving medicines despite submitting their demands. He directed that the procurement of all essential medical equipment be completed by March 31, 2026, and that reagents for laboratories be promptly available.

Regarding health infrastructure, the Minister directed that the construction of Mahasamund, Kanker, and Korba Medical Colleges be completed within the stipulated timeframe. He also directed that the construction of 12 new nursing colleges and 6 new physiotherapy colleges in the state be commenced soon. At the conclusion of the meeting, CGMSC Chairman Deepak Mhaske expressed his gratitude to the Health Minister, stating that the meeting was extremely useful and fruitful in his presence. He stated that the instructions given in the meeting would be promptly reviewed and necessary action would be taken for their effective implementation, so that the state's health services could be further strengthened.

Janjgir-Champa. For Hemant Singh, a resident of Chandaniya village panchayat in the Akaltara development block, owning a permanent home was once a dream. Financially weak, Hemant Singh was forced to live in a mud house with thatched roofs and tin. Due to financial constraints, he was unable to repair his house or replace the thatch or tin. The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin) brought a new ray of hope to his life. In 2024-25, he was selected by the government and approved an amount of ₹1.20 lakh under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Gramin). This amount was directly transferred to his bank account, giving him the opportunity to build his own permanent home. After receiving the approved amount, beneficiary Hemant Singh completed the construction of his home. Today, he and his family live a respectable life in a safe, strong, and permanent home. He has also benefited from an LPG gas connection under the Ujjwala Yojana and the construction of a flush toilet under the Swachh Bharat Mission, which has improved his quality of life.

Family members say that schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin are proving to be a boon for poor families. This scheme not only provides shelter but also gives them the confidence to live a respectable life. Expressing gratitude to the government and administration, they say that this scheme is making the dream of owning a permanent home come true for millions of poor people like them.

Ambikapur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai performed the groundbreaking ceremony and foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of a new Bharatiya Janata Party office in Chhattisgarh's Surguja district on Monday. BJP state president Kiran Singh Dev, regional organization minister Ajay Jamwal, finance minister OP Chaudhary, and culture and tourism minister Rajesh Agrawal were special guests at the event, while BJP Surguja district president Bharat Singh Sisodiya presided over the event.

At the venue, BJP workers enthusiastically welcomed the guests with drums, loud slogans, and traditional Shaila dances. The groundbreaking ceremony and foundation stone laying ceremony were completed with Vedic chanting by 26 learned pundits, creating a completely devotional and festive atmosphere.

An inspiring example of this scheme's success is Bhagwati Ratre, a resident of Gram Panchayat Sanda in the Barmkela development block of Sarangarh district, who resolved to support her family with courage, wisdom, and hard work even in difficult circumstances.

Bhagwati Ratre's family consists of herself, her husband, and her three-year-old daughter. After marriage, family circumstances forced her to live separately from her in-laws. The entire responsibility of the family rested with her husband, who worked as a laborer to support the household. Unfortunately, a serious accident left her husband unable to work. The subsequent medical treatment, daily household expenses, and the needs of their young daughter plunged the family into a deep financial crisis.

In such challenging times, the Mahatari Vandan Yojana proved a source of support for Bhagwati Ratre. Instead of limiting the monthly assistance of Rs 1,000 under the scheme to expenses, she began regular savings. With this savings and confidence, she purchased a sewing machine worth Rs 6,000 and took a step towards self-employment.

Raipur. The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has decided to launch a helpline for students ahead of the 10th and 12th board exams. This helpline will be active on February 5th, allowing students to seek solutions to problems related to their studies and exams.

According to information released by the Board, this helpline service will be operated daily from 10 am to 5 pm, starting February 5. Students, parents, and teachers can seek guidance by calling the toll-free number 1800-233-4363.

The first phase of the helpline will run from February 5th to February 18th, 2026. During this period, experts in English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and other subjects will address students' questions. Psychologists and counselors will also be available during office hours to help reduce exam stress and mental strain.

The second phase of the helpline service will run from February 19 to March 17, 2026. In this phase, subject experts as well as Board officials will resolve procedural and other problems related to the examination.

Mungeli . The Chief Minister's Skill Development Scheme run by the Chhattisgarh government is becoming a powerful medium to bring positive change in the lives of rural youth. Under the scheme, self-employment is being made available to the youth by training them in various courses. In this series, Shri Jeevan Singh Baiga, a resident of village Jhula in the district, has taken an important step towards self-employment by receiving skill training. He received training in the Domestic Data Entry Operator course in the IT/ITES sector at the District Project Livelihood College, Jamkor, under the Chief Minister's Skill Development Scheme. During this training program, he was taught in detail about computers, related equipment and all the necessary technical information used in the work.

Mr. Baiga explained that he learned about this training through a training camp. After completing all the necessary procedures, he qualified for the training and successfully completed it. The guidance and practical knowledge he received during the training gave him the confidence to become self-reliant. Following the training, Mr. Jeevan Singh Baiga established a CSC (Common Service Center) as a self-employment option. Currently, he is successfully supporting not only himself but also his family through this medium. Self-employment has provided him with a regular source of income, improving his financial situation and lifestyle. Mr. Jeevan Singh Baiga credits his success to the Skill Development Department, the District Project Livelihood College, Jamkor, Mungeli, and the district administration for effectively implementing this scheme on the ground. Expressing gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudev Sai, he says that this scheme is becoming a strong foundation for employment and self-reliance for rural youth.

He said that he is familiar with Kabir Panth since childhood and there are 8-10 Kabir Panthi families in his village Bagiya also. Regarding renaming Damakheda as Kabir Dharamnagar, he said that the final process for publication in the gazette is underway. Shri Sai said that people are getting direct benefits from the double engine government. Now the Chief Minister said that Naxalism, which was an obstacle to the development of Chhattisgarh, is going to be eradicated soon. Naxalism will be completely eradicated from the state by March 31, 2026. We have rapidly fulfilled the promise made to the people.

These creatures grew more powerful in the darkness and gradually led the entire Earth toward a terrifying eternal dusk, where no one, human, animal, or nature, was safe. The story's main protagonist is Kuruguru Bhadradev Baiga, who understands the balance of science, spirituality, and nature. Raipur - Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao inaugurated the Maghi Purnima and Tribal Development Fair 2026 in Ratanpur on February 1. On this occasion, Mr. Sao announced Rs. 2 crore for the construction of an auditorium and Rs. 20 lakh for a boundary wall at the municipal building.

Raipur : Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka attended the inauguration of the Rajim Kumbh Kalpa Mela, held at the Naveen Mela Ground, Rajim, on the sacred banks of the Triveni Sangam (Rajim) as the chief guest. On this occasion, Governor Ramen Deka, Tourism Minister Rajesh Agrawal, along with guests and saints, offered flowers to the statue of Lord Rajivalochan, received his blessings, and prayed for the prosperity and well-being of the state. In his address, he said that this sacred land of Rajim, where the Mahanadi, Pairi, and Sondhur rivers meet, holds immense sacred and historical significance. He said that the fair held at this sacred site, known to devotees as the "Kalpa Kumbh," symbolizes our rich cultural and religious heritage.

The Governor further said that Rajim Maghi Punni Mela is a symbol of Chhattisgarh's faith. This is a sacred event in which not only the people of Chhattisgarh but also devotees from different parts of the country come. Rajim is a major religious place famous as the center of Shaivism and Vaishnavism since ancient times. Here Lord Vishnu is seated in the four-armed form in the Rajivalochan temple. Here Lord Shiva is seated in the form of Kuleshwar Mahadev.

Governor Shri Deka stated that the Panchkoshi Yatra
of Kuleshwarnath Mahadev, Pateshwar Nath Mahadev, Champeshwar Nath Mahadev, Bramhkeshwar Nath, Phanikeshwar Nath Mahadev, and Karpureshwar Mahadev is world-famous. The abundance of ancient temples gives Rajim archaeological, religious, and cultural significance. These temples showcase the glorious history of sculpture. The month of Magh is considered a holy month in the scriptures. For centuries, there has been a tradition of holy baths in sacred rivers and the Triveni confluence during this sacred period. There is an ancient tradition of organizing fairs in various places in Chhattisgarh during this month. Fairs have special social and community significance. They bring together diverse cultures and provide an opportunity for the new generation to become familiar with their traditions. I salute all the saints, scholars, and religious leaders present at the Rajim Fair today. India has been a land of saints and sages. It is said that when the feet of saints and sages touch a place, that place becomes sacred. Following the path shown by saints leads to enlightenment and positive change in life. Where saints are respected, there is happiness, prosperity, peace, and well-being. Their lives are always dedicated to charity. By associating with saints, we become better human beings.

Raipur : Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma welcomed the Union Budget 2026-27 presented today, calling it historic, unprecedented, and decisive in the path toward a developed India. He said that this budget, presented under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister, has been prepared with the primary needs of villages, the poor, farmers, women, and youth at the center and gives new strength to the resolve for a self-reliant India.

Mr. Sharma said that the provision of a substantial fertilizer subsidy in the interest of farmers is a major step towards reducing the cost of farming. This will ensure the availability of cheap fertilizers, reduce production costs, and provide direct relief to farmers. Furthermore, making adequate provisions in the agriculture budget will accelerate agricultural research, innovation, and modern technologies.

Noting a significant 21 percent increase in rural development spending, Mr. Sharma said the budget offers a clear roadmap for the holistic development of villages. Doubling direct assistance to panchayats and the vision of a self-reliant village, the Vikasit Gram, will energize the rural economy. Initiatives like Lakhpati Didi and SHE-Mart will enable women from self-help groups to move beyond livelihoods and become entrepreneurs.

He said that the Union Budget 2026 presented today makes it clear that the Bharatiya Janata Party government is taking the country forward with strong decisions and concrete results. This budget is not a document of appeasement, but of the politics of development and nation-building. Provisions made for all sections of society, including farmers, the poor, the middle class, and the youth, demonstrate that the government's focus is not on vote banks, but on India's future. Raipur: Chhattisgarh MP and senior BJP leader Brijmohan Agrawal welcomed the Union Budget 2026-27, calling it a historic budget for the overall development of Chhattisgarh and realizing the resolve of 'Developed India' under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Agarwal said that maintaining the country's growth rate at 7 percent even during a global recession and instability is a testament to the Modi government's strong economic policy and vision. This budget has been prepared with youth, women's empowerment, employment generation, and infrastructure at the center.

He said that the budget proposes a record capital expenditure (Capex) of ₹12.2 lakh crore, which will accelerate infrastructure development across the country and create large-scale employment opportunities. Chhattisgarh, in particular, will directly benefit from this.

Big gifts for Chhattisgarh-MP Brijmohan Agrawal said that many far-reaching announcements have been made in the budget for the mineral-rich and tribal-dominated state of Chhattisgarh.

Mining Corridors: Mining corridors will be developed in Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Kerala. This will strengthen connectivity in coal, iron ore, and bauxite regions, reduce transportation costs, and increase industrial investment.

Tribal Welfare: The proposal to establish Tribal Health Observatories in 8 states including Chhattisgarh and to develop sports hubs in tribal schools will give a new direction to social development.

He said that Chhattisgarh's receipt of ₹52,000 crore in central assistance in a single year is a testament to the Modi government's love for Chhattisgarh and commitment to development. This amount is approximately ₹4,500 crore more than last year, which will further accelerate the pace of development in the state.

More than 10 crore women in the country are associated with self-help groups, hence a provision has been made in the budget to strengthen the groups formed and run by women. The government's effort is to ensure that Lakshmi reaches every home. Along with this, a provision has also been made to build girls' hostels in every district.

Saroj Pandey said that under the guiding principle of "reform over rhetoric" in the Union Budget, the government has identified three key objectives to transform the country's potential into performance. These include accelerating and sustaining economic growth by increasing productivity and global competitiveness, fulfilling the aspirations of the people by empowering them to share in prosperity, and realizing the vision of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas" (together with all, development for all) to ensure equal opportunities for every region and community.

He said that the integrated development of 500 reservoirs and the promotion of women's groups and FPOs are highlights of this inclusive development budget. This will strengthen coastal areas as well as the inland sector. This initiative will transform water resources into a sustainable source of income and will bring inclusive development to the forefront by connecting fishermen, women's groups, and small producers to organized markets.
